Buns really are. Expert burrowers, as flexible as cats, and they can lift and get under a lot more than you think.

This dapper fellow is named Emo on account of his magnificent coiffure. Super sweet, takes incredible care of his flock. His father was hand-reared and a hero for trying to save his flock from a marten attack.

He actually succeeded somewhat - he managed to save several hens, and when we found him, we thought we was dead. But we rushed him to the vet and he made miraculous recovery! He seemed depressed at first but when we got him back into his yard with the hens he saved he perked back up. He's very much still with us to this day!

That's awesome! A good rooster is invaluable, especially one that is human friendly

I was delighted to hear your old man is still kicking it

10

Hahaha, I get that a lot. He isn't. He's named after the fjords in Alaska because he looks like a wolf and it felt like a good name for a wolf looking dog.

But if I had gotten another dog, it would have been named Koda :)

7

Not ugly!! I literally said “oh my god” when I saw them cause they’re SOOOO cute!!

11

This is Astrid. About 1 year old. She always acts so neglected when we go out. Believe me, I spend multiple hours a night cuddling this one.

She just wants to lick my face.

Next up is Sherlock. He's about 2½ years old. He has his Urban Canine Good Citizen making him a certified good boy.

This is Izzy. She's just shy of 9 years old. We have had her since she was 4 weeks old. She's running a little chunky, but she's also extremely fluffy.

And finally, Thorin. He just turned 12. He was my wife's cat before we met. He's all the love of a dog with all the craziness of an orange cat. He doesn't understand or respect the concept of "no." He is a bottomless pit for attention. He knows how to open the blinds.

73

Omg!! A little blind opening genius. And Izzy just has more fluff to love. Astrid and Sherlock make an adorably cute pair!

15

Yup! Picked him up in a town called Mørke, meaning The Dark in Danish, on Friday the 13th of December. I had to call him Lucifer 😎

Here's my Kitty. I call her Kitty. She's a Kitty named Kitty.

60

I know someone who has two, one named Cat the other is Kitty. When I first saw one I was all "yay kitty!" And the person just said "no that's Cat" and it took me hours before I learned why they corrected me like that

17

I think she gets mad about the camera. Every time I fix it, she climbs up there and muscles it around.

Omg!! The cuteness!!! They love each other!!

11

Ha. Yeah, they do.
The tabby (Eddie) had a "brother" that was about the same age and we adopted them both a couple of years ago. The brother was lost to cancer. Eddie was very sad for a while after.
Then we adopted the younger black one, and the tabby has been a lot happier having another friend around.

She just passed yesterday, but she still feels like she's here.

Oh god, 😯 Did she have a good time while she was with us? Her expression seems so calm and friendly 😢 I'm so sorry 😞

I believe she did. Had her 10 years to the month. She was very kind and gentle. We had 2 kids while she was with us and treated them perfectly even as they crawled all over her. I always thought it was just people being nice, but whenever we took her to places like the groomer she would always say she loves her and had times when we called and they told us no openings until she heard who it was and say ohhh we love her bring her in! She was my first pet and I honestly can't see having another dog since she ruined the rest for me.

Yeah, he's a good boy, but he doesn't like lap time like she did. I love him all the same, but there's still that void (haha 🥲 ) where she used to sit.

Thank you friend, have a great night.

He doesn't use that lap spot because he knows that is where she sits still :)

My cat is notoriously non-photogenic. I don't know how she knows what cameras are but she knows she doesn't want them. I've managed to steal a few.

My boy is the same. This is a pic I was able to snap a long time ago:

My dog with dementia same thing; I'd like to take more photos as I think these are his last days, but he keeps his head turned.

Presenting The Fabulous Staredycat Sisters!

Emily (AKA Nurse Emily, Emmerly), the most curious cat I've ever known and one of the most affectionate 🥰

And her twin sister Charlotte (AKA Char Char) the world class snugglebug who makes even Emily look slightly reserved by comparison 🥰

Bonus: my mom's dog Walther who I'm lucky enough to dogsit weekly 🥰

Here are my precious baby boys, Wart and Pablo. If everyone can wish them a happy birthday, they turn one year old tomorrow.

29

let my shy kitty out today to go lay in the sun on the concrete as she normally does while I ate a snack, but today she got adventurous and finally explored the grass!
so proud of her 🥰

her meows of annoyance when I picked her up to go inside was hilarious. She liked the warm ground

(dw I kept her on close watch. The only thing she ate was the grass, because it was poking her face)

Victoria's Secret Marilyn Monroe says hi. Fine you someone who looks at you the way she looks at her walker.

28

:D

Her cousins were all named after fancy designer brands: Prada, Chanel, Dolce, etc.

Didn't want her to feel left out. I tacked on the 'Marilyn Monroe' when she was borne a blonde.

This is Jim, he’s gross because he’s 23 but he’s still my handsome and adorable little buddy. He’s a dickhead.

Had to swap to my .world account for this one.

First up is Sophie. I should have named her Jealous, because she is the biggest attention whore I have ever met. She looooves toys, and will take them with her where ever she goes. She'll even fall asleep with toys in her mouth.

And this is Sophie's older sister, Vega. Vega likes being where it's warm, like under the covers or in between someone's legs. She is also very protective of her little sister.

24

Bonus pic of Sophie when she was just a puppy because she was fucking adorable.

24

Lemmy, meet my babies, George and Lucille

Lucille likes to sleep in very awkward positions

George thinks nobody notices when he slowly backs up and sits on my husband's lap.
