An acquaintance who I knew in highschool has since transitioned. Before publicly identifying as a woman she had a relatively neutral British accent with a some with a slight hint of Scottish. Since transitioning she has a full on lilting highland accent. Which i found odd. I have a similar accent to her original accent and decided to try doing a girl voice to see what it would sound like. And i too developed a strong Highland accent. Why? I was specifically trying not to.

My daughter was introduced to TOH by her girlfriend and is obsessed. Problem is there isn't very much of it and she's watching it again and again on repeat. Does anyone know of anything she could watch to switch it up that has a similar vibe?

So my three year old has, since she was little, been really into jumping. I try to warn her that she could seriously injure herself, but this hasn't happened yet so she doesn't think I'm serious. But she jumps over and off anything. Sisters bunk bed to the armchair 2 meters away? No problem. Bunk bed to the floor? Sticks the landing every time. I swear my partner must have cheated on me with a f##king spider monkey.

How do I convince her to not do the jumps that could break her ankle if she lands wrong? I'm not getting through to her. I'm happy she is physically active, but she's taking the piss.
