Found this Omega in a car that had been sitting in a forest for at least 20 years, what is it?
Clearly seen some moosture, but the case seems to be in very nice shape, all the corners are quite sharp. Original branded crown too.

A T495s to replace my aging T430. The T430 is still quite usable, but the original battery with 34% health isn't great, though it gets through a 2 hour lecture no problem.
I do miss the trackpoint buttons and smaller trackpad, I tend to move the mouse with my palm while using the trackpoint, but otherwise the new one is better in every way.
It's a radio controlled EcoDrive with an interesting custom dial. It has "034/500" engraved on the back, so that many were probably made.
I just got a new Radeon RX 6700 XT. I connected my screens to it, and 2 display like they should but mh Asus PG278Q only flickers the backlight. Same problem in text mode, but the UEFI setup shows up fine. In KDE display configuration it doesn't recognise the model, and shows 640x480 as the only supported resolution. Same in my Arch install and live Fedora. I have tried both DP ports on the GPU and different cables. The screen only has a DP port. What more can I try?
Edit: it seems the low resolution text mode grub uses works, but when it switches to the higher res mode the picture goes away
Another edit: same problem with an R9 280 I have. So it seems something about the AMD drivers doesn't like my monitor.
More editing: the older card lets me set the screen to 1024x768 which actually displays. So it seems to be an EDID problem. Now to figure out how to tell KDE what resolutions it supports.
The last edit: I found an EDID file for this monitor online and added it in the kernel command arguments. Monitor works with the full resolution, but only 120Hz instead of the full 144.
I put in an order for a PineTime on Monday and got the order received email. I still haven't gotten a dispatch email, are they usually this slow?
I've had it in my pocket for the past two years, and now I can't find it anywhere... It must be at home somewhere, but will I find it
I recently got a "new" bike to replace my stolen one, and my one complaint about is that the lowest gear is still too high for some of the hills I ride on. Now, I counted 26 teeth on the largest gear on the cassette. Can I just get a new cassette with more teeth, adjust the derailleur and be done?
Järkyttävä määrä noita välittäjiä, onko jollain suositusta? Mahdollisimman halpa tietysty, enkä tarvitse mitään webhotelleja yms. kun tulisi sähköpostipalvelun käyttöön.
I currently use KeepassXC that is synced through NextCloud. The sync isn't very elegant, especially on my phone. So I'm looking for a new password manager, which has a native server sync support that I can self host. What do y'all recommend? I need at least a phone app and a browser integration that can autofill.
Looks like a Climber, but has no hook and nothing on the scales. There is a mark where there was a triangular loho.
It's the one on the left. We're allowed any calculator that's not programmable and cannot store text. The Elektronika can be programmed though it cannot store a program when turned off.
Nevermind the Casio's ability to solve, integrate, derivate, deal with complex numbers and matrices and more
I have an older Sony amplifier I want to use for my computer, paired with some sort of speakers. While planning, I'm thinking: should I just use my motherboard's line out to the amp, or would I be better utilising the S/PDIF header on my mobo to get the audio digitally to the amp?
Fedora KDE, Wayland, Nvidia, proprietary drivers. Everything worked fine until suddenly plasmashell started crashing every time I interact with with the plasma panel. On x11 this doesn't happen, but instead the the whole video freezes while audio continues, and after a while it comes back. The plasma panel may or may not be frozen after this.
Is this an Nvidia problem again?
