I often think about Kyle Broflovski's father, sitting down with a nice glass of red wine, cracking his knuckles to troll the shit out of the internet

Sin(k) / cos(k) = tan(k)

Sin divided by cos is hiw tangent is defined. Using k as the variable makes the words sink and tank

is that supposed to look like brown sugar frosted mini wheats or am I just stoned

14

idk are your brown sugar frosted mini wheats made with inferior copper and when you tried to return them your servant was insulted?

Ohh! Wait, you've never seen the Ea-Nasir memes before?

Okay, there was this really shitty copper merchant back in ancient Sumeria. Sold low-grade copper as higher quality, was rude to messengers who had traveled for ridiculously long distances, refused to give refunds, all that. At least one coppersmith sent him several very long and sternly-worded complaints.

When the city was dug up later, archeologists found that that this asshole had literally framed these complaints in his house, like a badge of honor. He had taken his 1-star reviews and framed them in his kitchen.

Tumblr found this and decided to immortalize this asshole in memes.

Had to fix a bit of this:

But the most important thing everyone needs to consider though, is how back in nineteen ninety eight the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.

😄Well, glad you were having a good time. Roll one for those of us in the prohibition states. 🌲

So are you saying you wouldn't call 911 even if there was an intruder in your house because the cops would only make matters worse? 😂

-2

Uh, yeah? They can kill pets for getting in the way, target you if you're the wrong skin color, or risk collateral damage should they be too trigger happy. Robbers won't want to stick around, and someone just looking to hurt you (rare af) can be dealt with more quickly by neighbors if you live in an urban environment. As soon as hostility becomes too costly, almost any random threat will run.

I'm sorry if your world is all mad max lawlessness but in my world this is how I've successfully gone about things: Intruder in house > call 911 > police come & file a report > eventually get a warrant for the intruder's arrest > intruder eventually gets apprehended & removed from society. Peace restored.

And don't watch the news too much because that makes people live in paranoia that the whole world is going up in flames. It's really not.

-1

Have police killed one of your housepets or family members? Or are you just repeating things we've all seen in the news?

Fuck no. WE have Community Emergency response in my area. Calling the cops would also put ME and my FAMILY at risk because ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS. Children have been taken away from their parents because the cops they called for help alerted social services. So they are not allowed in our community any more. Fuck you for suggesting it, bootlicker. You disgust me.

The oldest meme on my phone. I changed phones in like 2017, so I don’t have my very ancient memes.

omg, i remember someecards!!! that is crazy. Amazing to have seen these a million years ago when they were ubiquitous, and to have not even noticed their slow extinction. Seeing this kind of gave me time whiplash.

barely a meme, but well done

(now my mind is grinding away trying to find a suitable caption to make it into a meme)

And also American kids of a certain age watching public television

2025, if I was at my desktop I'd show something much older

26

From the hallowed year 2011 (I didn’t bother to crop it on my iPhone 4 back then either, so you can also see the old UI for an extra nostalgia burst)

  1. I swear I had older memes but they must have gotten lost at some point.
23

2015, but that's just when i've saved it, or more like recovered from dying website that was around for a decade before or so

23

Hard to say what the oldest is since the creation dates of the files have gone through at least a couple of filesystem changes, but this is definitely one of the older ones, probably circa 2008. And it is technically on my phone since I sync my pictures folder on my Google Drive.

21

Context of the joke is that "burek" is allegedly only with meat, however, many have put other shit into the same structure and called it "burek" anyways, and some even changed the structure a bit but stuck to putting only meat in it, leading to the liberalisation of what constitutes a "burek" (neutral-neutral); and thus, the question of what defines a "burek" was raised and was funnily represented through this meme (many take this WAY more seriously than you'd assume)

12

I downloaded this image on Jan 10, 2013:

I miss this meme. It wasn't very clever like most memes from the 2000s and early 2010s, but it was fun.

11

It's a relatively new phone, all my prehistoric memes are on my computer

10

I transfer all downloads to the PC every once in a while, so it's not that old

9

I do not save memes on my phone.

I do have a baby hedgehog yawning in my ancient OneDrive.

It used to brighten my day.

It has been a while since Boku no hero was completed, one piece still hasn't lol

4

This is one of the oldest on my phone, from 2016 (there were three older ones, but they were too specific to my friend group)

4

They do now, so it's probaby fine to just take a picture of your oldest meme related philosophy papyrus (the concept of possession or later, if I'm not mistaken)

1

I posted my oldest earlier in this thread, but this second oldest is also pretty great
