FYI you can grab yourself a copy of UT99 off The Internet Archive and can play online on populated servers right now thanks to the OldUnreal developers! A 27 year old beloved game is still receiving updates to this day. Crazy. Links to get started are below!
Most notably, this Patch makes 64 bit available, higher fps especially on custom maps, and now the Vulcan renderer runs MUCH better now. Lots of unprecedented fixes and performance bugs have been fixed after decades. This is a HUGE update.
I have personally tested it compared to older patches and have noticed a huge difference to my fps in general.

I recommend updating to this Patch ASAP, but I must warn older Patch users to check if your favorite server happens to be using an old ACE (Anti Cheat) version, as this may introduce incompatibility issues. (Note:, this is only a very small number of servers anyways and you shouldn't run into any issues based on my testing while joining random servers with the new patch)

Hi guys, a quick little update alongside this post. I am really sorry that I haven't been active these last few weeks. I recently lost my dog and found out a family member has cancer now, so I haven't been motivated to do anything anymore 😢
