e-bike fun!

a family member bought this electric bicycle (lectric XP lite 2) and we have been having a go on it. it is a one speed bicycle though so its certainly interesting hehe.

the fit today was just jeans and this t shirt. more photos:

we also got our physician to write a letter of support for orchiectomy and vaginoplasty, as well as a referral to a hospital for the former, which is cool. unfortunately wait times are certainly a thing that may likely need to be contended with. oh well :)

after posting this we've been thinking about how surprisingly affirming it is to put "traditionally" more masc clothing into a more feminine style. after all, this fit is literally jeans, a t-shirt, and a cap. the exercise of implementing those smaller cues like the flower pin and the sequin covered belt is fun in of itself but our euphoria seems to stem most prominently from breaking societal norms in a girly way!

gender norms are so fun to violate :D

ion rule

from this pdf (published 1999) found on this page of the NIST PML time and frequency division's website. NIST is the "national institute of standards and technology", although they generally deal with more sciency stuff, and their PML is the "physical measurement laboratory".

NIST does a lot of very cool stuff, especially NIST PML. you should check out the site! their writings are surprisingly easy to read and they actually have a sense of whimsy. ofc they are a US government organization and sadly some bits of their site has been subject to the wills of the trumpster, so be aware of that.

what superpowers would you gain from eating the chemicals in this room (see picture)

::: spoiler for those unaware of hazard diamonds

the little rhombus thing is an NFPA 704 "fire diamond". each color signifies a danger: yellow is (chemical) reactivity, red is fire hazard, and blue health hazard. white is for other stuff.

the numbers are on a scale of 0-4, where zero is basically zero hazard and four is most dangerous. the W means "use no water", as in mixing it with water can generate dangerous fumes, cause explosions, etc. OX is short for "oxidizing".

tl;dr this sign means there is a ton of dangerous stuff in that room

a great quantity of trees and a broad expanse of clouds

we've always loved these sorta cloud formations. of course it doesn't come across that well on print (monitor?) but they always provide that feeling of just how big earth is, how the atmosphere has tons of depth to it, and how minuscule you are in comparison. it feels like we could conceivably take a flight up to them and just jump around in them!

also to the moth making a cameo: hope you're having a cute day x3
