The 13-year-old boy trapped inside my head went ahead and bought a radio-controlled micro crawler and I totally just stood by and let it happen.
Already got made fun of by some teenagers with more fragile egos and less expendable income than me.
Could've just asked and I would've let them try!

I found this two days ago and have been binge listening. I crave Animorphs stuff sometimes, and this hit the spot for sure. They have only done through book 15 so far, but the Andelite Chronicles has been done too.
This is a person doing a complete blind read (as in they have never read the series before), and it has been a lot of fun listening to them guessing what is going to happen in the upcoming books in the series that they haven’t gotten to yet.

———— context: the author has dissociative identity disorder. this describes what it was like for me (bird) to return after another alter (rainbow) fronted unexpectedly. ‘bow tends to focus on household things like cleaning and cooking. that is very much not my forté! ‘bow and i don’t share much memory, so what happens while he fronts is a hazy grey mess, and i am often surprised to see what has changed while he was out.
i ordered one in october (pre-order) and it is meant to ship out at the beginning of april. i was digging through their website and it said that implementation of tariffs would understandably wreck both their supply chain but also pricing and shipping.
has anyone heard any updates on whether we should still be expecting our units? i am really looking forward to it- i would love to get to use my gamecube more.
