US Deploys Warships to Venezuelan Coast, Raising Fears of Another 'Regime Change' War

It's being talked about in places like this where a tiny fraction of the people are aware of what's going on but not between normal everyday people. I can tell you with no uncertainty that only two or three people in my entire workplace of a few hundred people are even remotely plugged in. Hell even the union reps are asleep at the wheel. They're too busy trying to take care of their kids or pay their rent.

There’s definitely a change in the air. I’ve been downvoted to hell for the last week saying and doing the exact same things I’ve been saying and doing the entire time, making jokes at the expense of celebrities and being snarky in political subs. For some reason this week joking about how DJ Khalid doesn’t go down on women and offering non-destructive pro-tips for deflating tires is worth a bunch of downvotes.

Hilarious to me they think that way. Im a dude in my 40s and when I was a kid it was ingrained in me that I needed to know how to sew because repairing clothes was a necessary skill. At minimum I needed to be able to make a shirt and pants and to fix buttons. I took two years of home ec my last year of middle school and first year of high school to learn to sew and make clothes.
