🇺🇸 Today I learned of the "War on Violence". Paradoxical as it sounds, I felt it perfectly captured much of US domestic & foreign policy.

From the "War on Drugs" to current conflicts, the US continues to invoke the prevention of violence as a pretext for unleashing far more of it on the world 🪖🚀💔

I never feel like I can strike the right tone with memes. And I know there are bigger things than the TN governor race right now. But I think if Blackburn didn't get the Governorship, a lot of peoples' lives will be better. And I think it would be pretty dang funny.

Two guys standing at the pump at a Shell gas station. The guy at pump 2 holds up the gas pump nozzle to his ear and tells the guy at pump 1 “Apparently, if you hold a Shell pump to your ear you can hear the shareholders laughing at you”. :::

Pretty good video, love the historically accurate outfits.

Honestly the Palestinian people have had a pretty raw deal over their history. Egypt, Greece, Rome, the British, and a few I'm sure I have forgotten about have ruled Palestine as a vassal state. I hope they one day are free although it looks like they're all gonna be dead or dispersed like the country my great grandparents came from was.

I love my country.

Context: This asshole (zoran stevanović) and his populist party were the ones who swung the majority to the right, and now we have slovenian trump for the next 4 yrs

US tech may lag on the important stuff... but it's also pretty meh in the shitty ones too
