The window's open and I can hear the birds singing outside. Yes, I recommend it.

The song of tinnitus. It sounds like the high pitched squeal of a failing power supply.

All the time or intermittent? One ear or both? Mine started in 2006. I notice it a lot less now, especially if i have any other noise around.

My kids are making me play K.K. Slider tracks from Wii's Animal Crossing City Folk in Brewster's Cafe (I am time traveling to Saturday). Cafe K.K. just played.

Do I recommend it? Yeah, cool cat.

Hell yeah.
But I dislike the records. I am instead listening to the hourly background tracks.

I've had the 24 hour tracks play while working before, haha.

Every so often, I'll listen to this song, because it's just piano + ambient sounds of public transport, and that takes me back to when I used to regularly take the train.

Sounds like you are in the station and someone whipped out their keyboard.
Neat!

¿Alburero, gótico y lemming? Eres una extraña combinación.

“Taxi to Baltimore Dub” by Scientist. It has an interesting genealogy: Randy Newman’s song “Baltimore” was done as a reggae cover by Nina Simone, then covered again by an actual reggae band called The Tamlins, which then got remixed/dubbed by Scientist. If you listen to Newman’s and then Scientist’s, they’re effectively unrecognizable in relation other than lyrical snippets. I absolutely recommend it.

ADDERALL by maezi666 . It’s good but you have to like the nightcore adjacent music.

The Dillinger Escape Plan : One of Us Is the Killer

Yes... if you're into harsh music.

"Prisoner's Awakening," from the Dead Cells soundtrack, which frequently comes up on my workday playlist. Definitely recommended, that game has an amazing soundtrack. Instrumental, varying from orchestra and acoustic guitar to sometimes electric guitar and synth (or, synth-like?) tracks.

As The World Begins To Wane - Absent Moon - Chuck Salamone

Its like ballad or opera rock or something and it tells the story of what happens to the characters of Hylics after Hylics 2. I'd only recommend it if you played the Hylics series.

4

My phone's detection app says Close to You by Dayglow. I'm on a plane waiting to takeoff. The song is fine, I guess.

4

i don't want to be with you - i hate myself and i want to die.

Awesome band if you like that mid 2000s emo skate punk sound

4

I was listening to... Boston, Longtime / Foreplay. Quite the hard rock canon I suppose. Not my era or genre, but a great song. Going down the rabbit hole with this old band.

4

My daughter and I have been listening to Jesse Welles' (Under the Power Lines versions) of Autumn and Anything But Me quite a lot. Certain is also fire, but a little too political for my 6-year-old to grasp.

Currently I'm listening to Tom Waits' 1983 album Swordfishtrombones. The specific song playing is Frank's Wild Years although it switched to the title track while I was writing this comment.

Waits for sure has some great songs, but he's an excellent album artist and I would recommend Swordfishtrombones. It's one of his best albums and I would whole heartedly recommend it. Mule Variations, Bone Machine, and Rain Dogs are also fantastic albums. Fair warning though, Tom Waits is very polarizing, you either love him or absolutely hate him.

Various - 攻殼機動隊 MEGATECH BODY.Cd.,LTD (Genre: Electro, Tech House, Techno)

Various other songs for which I am to lazy to list.
Usually EDM or J-pop/rock.

Some Artists:

DECO*27

Edit:
Forgot to mention, I mention, I really like the releases of "Eye" -> https://open.spotify.com/artist/3zqz8Khnygbv4LJia0v0iY (if you dislike spotify, the artist is also on YT) Specifically "Majestic Sadistic" and "Domestic Drastic"

One Headlight by the Wallflowers. Absolutely yes - it's one of my favorite 90s songs.

3

Barry Mann - Who put the bomp? because somebody referenced it in the [email protected] thread about James R. Kirk's middle name.

Kinda fun as far as '50s pop goes, I guess.

Edit: Now I'm about to go listen to "video killed the radio star" because I double-checked the tenforward link was correct and found a thread referencing that in there too. Why is it unusually musical tonight?

Edit 2: it is now the next morning, and "Who Put The Bomp?" remains stuck in my head. Send help.

Far Horizons - Skyrim Soundtrack. And yes, it's simultaneously chill and makes me want to go stand on top of a mountain and gaze into the distance moodily.

I have a collection of video game soundtracks that I keep running at a quiet volume pretty much 24-7 for my cats because they have separation anxiety and I'm gone a lot. Skyrim, Oblivion, all 3 Witcher games, Stardew Valley, Terraria, Baldurs Gate 3, a couple of the Assassins Creed games, and a couple others are in there. Currently I have over 1000 songs in my main playlist that I run, but I have way more soundtracks that I don't have in that playlist.

3

The third movement of Mendelssohn's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in E Minor, with Hilary Hahn on violin. It's an absolute banger.

2

My earworm. Haggard - Chapter I: Tales of Ithiria. Yes, I recommend it, but it's not their best album. I prefer And Thou Shalt Trust the Seer or Awaking the Centuries.

2

Adam Freeland's 2008 essential mix, you should dig it up and give it a listen

2

Orange Juice Jones by JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown

Hell yeah. It's dope.

2

The sound is like the Phonk version of
Headbanger by Babymetal
and
Iconic by 花冷え (HANABIE)

1

Subterranean Homesick Alien by Radiohead. If you're feeling sort of like one just now. Pay attention to the lyrics

2

I don't have the album link, but I got the individual link to the song I was listening to while I found thus question: Last Words by nostraightanswer. It's part of their Specters album, which I have on CD and LOVE, so yes I recommend it. This song happens to be about the fear of others passing away.

It's my maybe 4th favorite in that album behind Empty ( about depression ), Lies In Their Blood ( school shootings ) and Face to Face ( dealing with a stalker ). It's a pretty serious album that manages not to be super dreary throughout the whole thing. Would recommend.

2

R.E.M. - Ages of You. It came up in random rotation of ~5000 MP3s I have on my phone. Great song. Reminds me of being young. I used to belt it out in the car driving around as a teenager. It's on Dead Letter Office which is a collection of b-sides they released in the mid-late 80s.

2

Sky´s Falling Down by Hypocrisy. I like it, metal is not for everyone tho I realize

2

Loverman, Metallica cover of a song by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Absolutely recommend.

2

Xanadu

No, not Olivia Newton John's version written by Jeff Lynne...

Rather the one by RUSH.

There's multiple fans loudly humming next to me from various machines. One is constant, one is surging, and there's a few others ij the background. Add to this the vibration of the engine being tested and you have a truly symphonic experience.

No. lol

1

It doesn't have a title but it goes like "Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. Click."
It's my ceiling fan. I recommend it if you're hot.
