I'm 60. I was in U.S. public grade school in the 70s and early 80s.

Starting in Junior High, which was grades seven and eight, we were all required to take Physical Education (P.E.) classes, and we were all required to change into P.E. uniforms. The dress code for the school otherwise was minimal.

We changed in the locker room in front of each other, that meant we were nude in front of each other. This was true for girls and boys, of course, we had separate locker rooms.

Furthermore, after class, we were required to shower, which we also did together.

For both junior high and high school it was very much like this. Rows of lockers and open showers at one end. There were high windows along the ceiling to let the steam out.:

It took two or three days for everyone to get comfortable with being nude in front of each other, and that was the end of the problem. It was a small hump to get over, and everyone did, easily. By the end of the week we were all goofing around naked in the shower, like you may have seen in movies or wherever.

I'm curious about your experiences, and whether you think it's harmful or beneficial for kids to be forced to get nude in front of each other for this purpose.

I don't want to assume that under 30s' have heard about it. I suspect it's not in the typical public school curriculum anymore.

I forgot to get blueberries last Sunday, and I ran out yesterday, so I went shopping early. Frozen berries with cream, cinnamon, and cashews is my nightly treat. I considered doing without till Sunday, but just went shopping early, instead.

This was DeNiro's first comedy, which opened the door for later roles such as in Meet the Fokkers.

The chemistry between Robert DeNiro and Charles Grodin was the main draw. I liked Grodin, but his acting was never great IMO. But, the two worked together so well, I actually watched the whole movie without skipping ahead, which is unusual for me these days.

Am I doing this right?

Kids today don't know about Sunday comics.

Being the first one up, running out to the front yard in your PJs to grab the paper off the lawn, coming back in and pouring a bowl of Froot Loops or Captain Crunch and reading the comics on the TV room floor. The whole family read them, even dad, and even your sullen teen sister, and sometimes she'd laugh.

They were in COLOR! They were big, and had more panels! There were four or even six full pages, and it only happened on Sunday. It was such a big deal that if you search "old sunday paper", you get mostly hits about the comics. Often the Sunday comics were the front page of the paper, they wrapped the paper in the colorful Sunday comics.

Also, for some days, Sundays were the day big reveals happened in the serial comics, plot twists or a change in the storyline.

Every other day, if your parents subscribed to the daily, instead of just the Sunday paper, the comics were one page, maybe two in big cities, of only black and white. You still read them, they were still funny, but Sunday was the big day for comics. It was Saturday morning for cartoons on TV, and Sunday for the color comics.

Not that the vast majority would be without empathy, just that power would raise it from where it sits currently. Thought I should clarify that.

Is there a way to stop it from "updating" my wallpaper? The suggestions I've found online don't address this specific issue head-on--the "updating" wallpaper when I've never had any widgets or wallpaper. I'm guessing this is some malicious process from Apple to drain my new battery and there's nothing I can do about it.

I know I might get buried because it's "AI", but I think they did a good job. Much better than what makeup used to do.

(They deaged Robert Downey, Jr. in Captain America: Civil War and that was before AI, so I don't think the tech is necessarily AI specific.)

I think it would be depressing to have someone watch me die, for me and for them. I would hope that no one needs to watch that.
