I've been banned from several communities that I've never posted to, and the reason is a hurtful lie.
I've noticed I've been banned from 9 communities where I've never participated. These bans appear to stem from comments I made in a community on another instance. I'm not contesting these bans themselves, but I am concerned about the stated reason: 'Transphobia.'
I want to clarify that I made no transphobic comments in the original thread, nor have I posted anything transphobic in any of these communities (where I've never actually posted). Having this label repeated 9 times on my profile's modlog creates a misleading impression about my character and values.
While I respect your authority to moderate your communities as you see fit, I'm requesting that the ban reason be amended to something that accurately reflects the situation, rather than attributing views to me that I don't hold. I don't wish to have the bans reversed - just to have the stated reason corrected.
Thank you for your consideration.
Edit: I guess five days is enough time to expect a response. The mod, Ada (one of the mods of the entire blahaj.zone instance) is the mod who banned me from all of the communities that I never participated in. Ada is using trans issues as a bludgeon for banning anyone they don't like, even if someone (like myself) has done nothing transphobic in the least. Do whatever you like though, Ada, I don't really give a fuck, but you should seriously look at yourself and your actions and how they reflect on the trans community and the lemmy community. And by all means, if you have evidence to refute any of this, I'm all ears.

Putting bias in your sidebar doesn't give me much hope for the community.
Captain Kirk's final words were, "Oh, my," and I love that.
Think about all of the things he has seen, all of the worlds he has explored, all of the green women he has slept with, and when he is faced with death, it shocks even him, to the extent that all he can say is, "Oh, my." I'm not sure how popular this scene is among the Star Trek Zeitgeist, but I imagine it's probably hated. I, however, love it. Feel free to tell me how I'm wrong in the comments.
Question about Steam Deck vs Gaming PC
I have a Steam Deck, and I love it. It can handle 90% of my library, and it's always improving.
I decided to try out a linux distro for my OS, because the biggest drawback has always been the hoops that I had to jump through to get games up and running. I went for Pop OS, since that seemed to be natively friendly with NVidia, and the lowest barrier for entry. However, in Steam, I see that there is a much more limited selection of games compatible with my system. Is there a way around that, to get the same selection as my Steam Deck? Or is it this way because the Steam Deck is a singular platform that is developed for based on specific architecture?
