So all the pizza chains have their conveyor belt ovens so they can churn out pizzas super fast. But what if we just kept feeding one really long pizza through it? An endless pizza!!

36

Like a sushi conveyer setup! It's a big donut of pizza with diners set up inside and out. Cut a slice out where you want, add new dough and toppings, selectively fire to cook it. The eternal pizza....

There's a chain in my region that does Tandoori Pizza. I'm eating a slice right now

Having given no thought to geometry or logistics: slices pre-rolled into a portable burrito form factor that'll keep the toppings warm longer

I miss r/retiredgif. This is absolutely the most retired meme I’ve ever seen. Well done.

Is the inside filled to capacity or are we letting the toppings roll around and fall to the bottom?

How would you work the cashews into the pizza? Thai style with chicken and a peanut butter base sauce?

My local pizza place has an off-menu pizza called the Hossenfeffer since it's what I order every time. Deep pan, spicy beef x 2, spicy pork x 2, lamb doner (gyro) meat x 2, pepperoni, jalapenos x 2, fresh green chilles.

So, a sort of dough bucket filled with all the meat? A meat pie?

They also offer bacon, garlic sausage, salami, meatballs, Tandoori chicken, and ‘Mexican’ chicken whatever that is.

So the Hossenfeffer only has 40% of their meat choices.

And, yes, it's ironic, I know, that they don’t do rabbit.

Haven't been there in many years, but I'm sure it's actually very lovely.

holy fuck, it was a close enough guess for you to have been there.

I posted that because it reminded me of the takeaways up there, and that it's been consistently a horrible place to be. In fact, it was called the worst place to live in the UK in 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/tees/7120486.stm

Been there once that I recall - friends from university came from up that way. Surely if you're going for a takeaway in Middlesbrough you get a parmo?

I live in one of the places that frequently gets in the top ten best places in the country to live. Not sure I'd agree, but then I'm a country boy at heart.

yeah you do. But when you live there, you mix it up from time to time. The kebab , peppers and salami reminded me of hotshot parmos. Also the tandoori chicken as a topping.

I guess none of that reflects on the place you live. Still, it's fun to call out Boro and its lack of luster. You can probably corroborate with your friends what it's like to live there, and when I was there, it was a shithole.

2

Wow, impressive! Can you walk us through your thought process?

How about a Gyro meat pizza with red onion, Kalamata olive, pepperoncini, and feta with mozza to hold it all together, on a tomato base, with garlic oil drizzled on the crust? Edit: Add a drizzle of taziki after its cooked.

Or how about a sweet pizza with berries, cherries, orange slices and pineapple held together with brie and drizzled with honey, and topped with cold banana slices and powdered sugar on a cinnamon sugar crust?

Or if you want to go southern, how about a bbq rib meat pizza with fried pickles and fried green tomato slices on a white bbq sauce base?

How about a double Italian pepperoni and green olive pizza with tiny nickle sized sausage and cheese ravioli on a tomato base with mozza?

I'm sure I could think of more if you all want me to.

I used to live near a Domino's that was located right next door to a BBQ place. They offered BBQ pizzas which were really good!

More pizza places need to carry sun dried tomatoes. Put them on a white pizza with spinach ftw.

Don't know how new it is but we've been making one with just thinly slightly sliced zucchini & a little cheese. Don't know where the idea came from but its really good. Kind of juicy & savoury.

thinly slightly sliced zucchini & a little cheese

fucking california

Kiwi, bacon, jalapeno

Kiwi is less stringy and less sweet and works wonderfully on pizza

6

Chili pancakes

Makin' chili pancakes

Took some chili and I put it on a pancake

Which is basically pizza, right?

I don’t think I’ve seen tuna offered as an option in the US. Tuna in olive oil is amazing on pizza.

Even on frozen?

My wife's no cook, so I was away a day and next morning saw a half of a frozen pizza on the kitchen counter. She explained that it looked like a cheese pizza, but was potato and she couldnt finish it.

I've eaten potato on a pizza in milan, its not great but its not really that bad, either..

2

We never have frozen pizza but when we make pizza from ourselves at home, we find that sliced potato helps add moisture to the pizza.

I find potatoes tasty and it just suits. I add pineapple lots of times so what would I know :-)

1

I don't know, I think I would put money down to try a poutine pizza, with some maple bacon. But yes, I've had potato on pizza and it was so good.

1

Are we talking form, coz a pizza in the form of a tokamak would be sick.

Or are we talking ingredients, coz 30 years ago I used to order

Pizza, thin tomato base. Cheese, tandoori chicken, corn, potato slices with avocado slices. It might have more stuff but the place closed down and no one else will make it for me.

I would then layer salt and vinegar chips on that motherfucker.

It was amazing.

Fans of The Wizard of Speed and Time might remember the sushi pizza scene. Yecch! :)

I just want Chicago Deep Dish to be a delivery option. I don't care if it costs $40 bucks.

Reverse Pizza aka Hidden Pizza: Put the toppings first then the dough on top

Lmao I feel like I'm letting the camraderie down now by not actually being Turkish (or even a brother). Zeytinyağlı cooking is crazy good tho and would go so hard on pizza.

::: spoiler spoiler

Did this translate properly btw?

:::

1

So how did you get so exposed to very specific Turkish home cooking? Good holiday, friend or partner?

2

::: spoiler spoiler (Older) Bro slow down, you might as well (it's like you) put up a sign saying "I'm Turkish" t:::

It's simple.
You don't want to eat old pizza.
Eat new pizza instead, It's fresh!
