It's important to remember that real art comes from people, not AI.
The Uncomfortable is a collection of deliberately inconvenient everyday objects by Athens-based architect Katerina Kamprani.

I have, twice that I can remember.
- Nukamajig - microwave. I still use it from time to time because it's too stupid not to.
- Miscombobulate - mixup and confuse. Just now, between the time it was and when the appartment building's laundry room was closed for the night.
Portrait of a Lady (1917) - Aleksander Uurits
Can somebody explain what's going on with this neck? His other work has nothing like this weirdness.
AI summaries
I started using Qwant (was using duck duck go) and noticed that search results are now including AI summaries. Is there a way to disable this bullshit, it do I need to go back to DDG?
Got permabanned on r/riddles for daring to contest my post deletion.
I came up with a riddle and they claimed I was violating a rule. I argued that I was not and got permabanned. It was my first ever post there lol. I only posted there because there's not really a comparable Lemmy sub. Some mods are just so petty and stupid.

Some link and image link previews just show a gray boxst show
See the screenshot; some links but not all show that gray area with the link name. This is in the Connect app but I can't find a setting for that - it just started happening one day in the last week or so.
Is there a way to fix this? Is it a Connect issue, a Lemmy issue, or unique to Discuss?
Thanks.
How do you, personally, group/associate various colors with each other?
This is separate from the technical categorization of colors. Rather, how do you associate color families in your thoughts? Also, how good is your color vision, for comparison?
For me, I have excellent color vision;
- Reds, pinks, magentas, very red oranges
- Oranges, Yellows, Browns, very yellow greens
- Greens
- Most blues, purples, very blue greens
- Whites, off-whites, creams, light blues
- Black, grays, very dark blues, and other near-black colors that aren't browns
Why do men go bald on top of their heads but not the facial hair?
I guess that goes for eyebrows and other body hair in general, but it seems like hair loss with age is very specifically only on top of the head and nowhere else.
