Or was pegged by one and liked it a bit too much

62

Pro tip: before getting yourself pegged make sure to make it clear you want her to be gentle with you, so you don't risk having to question your sexuality.

10

If being attracted to buff women makes you gay, then gender is not as simple as this twitter gremlin probably believes it to be. But they probably don't want to think about that too much.

163

"Not 'normal' = gay". That's all they consider.

As we (jokingly) say in German: „Nur der Gefickte ist schwul.“ ["Only the one getting fucked is gay."]

22

I have a friend that says having muscles makes women too masculine. He was not amused when I asked him if that also means he is feminine because he doesn't have any muscle (I don't actually believe either is the case, just wanted to point out his hypocrisy)

17
lemmy.world

So by this logic, it would be straight for him to fuck femboys? Sounds gay.

92
lemmy.world

fellas, is it gay for a man to find a woman hot?

79
lemmy.ca

According to xitter, if the woman is very muscular, then yes.

I don't quite understand why though.

23
dandelionreply
lemmy.blahaj.zone

right wing politics promotes rigid gender norms

including that only men should be muscular

so muscular women are masculine

and men attracted to a masculine person are gay

nevermind that these are the same people who want to rigidly define women by their gametes, chromosomes, or other biological characteristics (not how buff they are, or how masculine they present)

or that these are the same people who came up with the idea that everyone is straight to begin with ("gay" being a sinful behavior, nobody being born gay)

24

Xitter told me dating someone with XXY chomosomes is 50% gay and just one X chomosome would be Schrodinger's gay

(/s for the tone deaf)

Dear alpha,

I tell you what to like and how to make love. If you disobey, you're an omega and do not deserve affection.

75
lemmy.world

Well, the original idea is based on the behavior wolves that are (strictly) kept in captivity; that porn writers yoinked into their fanfics… Raise your hands if you think thats applicable on you, I won’t be able to see it, but your surroundings should know that you are iffy!

18
lemmy.sdf.org

The original original idea is based on a study about those wolves in captivity that was never peer reviewed/reproduced and was generally confirmed to be absolutely bogus bullshit.

8
lemmy.world

…the book was very much so peer reviewed even at its publishment, the issue was: -that ‘the being kept in captivity’ was not underlined to the point and via words where layman could understand universally/ be in the point of deniability for spreading nonsense -was a great fucking book, loads of people read it before the author could actually withdrew it (he immediately started pleading with the publisher once it surfaced) and make it more explicit

8
lemmy.sdf.org

Thanks for the explanation, always assumed it hadn't been peer reviewed because that requires replication of the experiment most often.

4

It should, but it does not always require that, at least for some soft sciences. In my very niche field (German grammar and German language instruction) studies are almost never reproduced as part of the peer review process, though it is totally normal for people to publish new papers that are essentially reproductions of existing studies.

4

No, the peers do not necessarily have to spend a decade to repeat the study as there is no singular thesis, nor any experiment… They just look it over while playing with their existent or non-existent beards and if its their speciality then give their names that ‘yes, this checks out’

2

Not necessarily, a lot of straight guys have insecurities. It's not exclusive to LGBTQ+

Wait if you think she's hot, does that make you gay, but that makes you straight. But if you're straight and you think she's hot then that makes you gay.

It's confusing.

35

Here's a trick solve your confusion: if you could choose what's in those pants, how long would it take you to make a decide: if you instantly know you want what's in your own pants youre most likely gay, if you know instantly you want exactly what's not in your own pants you're most likely straight, if you need a moment before you know you're likely not straight nor gay. All the other reasons you can think of aren't about sexuality as in what gender do you like but are about sexuality as in what kind of person you want to be with. But it might also be a little more complicated than this.

5

These people are so strange. We live in this big, complex world filled with variation, and they are like: "No! Everything must be only one way!"

56

Realizing that emotions aren’t and can never be binary is HOMO STUFF

11

The complexity is too cognitively taxing so instead of just accepting that there will be people you don't understand, they want to force everything to a strict mold they can easily comprehend, without needing to confront contradictions inherent to the human condition. Letting go of control and accepting the world is far beyond your capacity to fathom is a scary thing. But what is life but the act of letting go?

1

No, they want only two! They can't handle it if everyone is the same, or if there is a rainbow of ways. To them, it must be two, no more or less! It must be binary!

Edit: This is a very boring grey lenses to view our species. Our closest relatives is bonobos....

If reecethebrah sees a muscular woman, and the first thought he has is "THIS IS A PSYOP TO TURN MEN GAY," then maybe he's telling us more about how the inside of his head works than about the secret homosexual / female body building conspiracy that has been hiding in plain sight this entire time.

40

Pattie is literally amazing. Anyone would be happy just to know her

29
lemmy.world

I feel so sorry for Patty. She has the unfortunate mix of muscle, attractiveness, nerdiness and popularity that creates a following of neckbeardy guys and parasocial girls.

Reading some of the comments on her recent videos with the new bf makes me put down the phone, walk outside and sit in the sun.

26
blarghlyreply
lemmy.world

I'm sure the comments are atrocious. But I certainly dont feel bad for her. Fame is a conscious descision that one must maintain. She could simply stop posting today, and quietly delete all her social media over the next year or so, and her notariety would all but disappear. She is famous, making bank, and is a sex icon - as far as hedonistic indulgence goes, I'd say she's doing pretty alright!

And if she has any sense at all (and I believe she does), she'll have long ago gotten off social media herself and handed everything over to a social media manager. She does a few photoshoots per year, plus a few fanservice videos when her manager tells her it would do her good, and then she goes off and goes clinkity clankity in the gym followed by playing dnd or whatever she's into, never even looking at the comments she gets.

13

Look, I agree that everyone intentionally trying to be famous, whether it be online or as like an actor or something, needs to be aware that this behavior is a reality they need to be prepared for. BUT that doesn’t mean we ignore the weirdos online and don’t sympathize with famous people. We should still discourage people from being rude or parasocial, and it’s normal to feel bad for humans going through shitty things, regardless of how much money they make related to that. Yes, she can stop posting, but that doesn’t excuse other people’s actions, and realistically some people would continue to be weird even if she did just vanish from the internet

16

Anyone willing to run with a punny handle like "Lean Beef Patty", with that physique, is a-okay in my book.

14

The only reason you would want a woman to be weak, is if you're planning on physically overpowering her. Just saying.

Also... Nice.

I know the first thing I think of when I see a sexy muscular woman is that I would like to suck her dick. 🙄

22
blarghlyreply
lemmy.world

Unpopular opinion: sucking dick is gay if you're a guy. Sucking man dick is gay. Sucking lady dick is gay. Sucking plastic dick is gay. Imagining sucking the platonic conception of a dick is gay.

Saying sucking a girls dick isn't gay is like saying a tomato is a fruit. Sure, you're technically correct. But you're still wrong.

-2

Gonna go out on a limb and say you're looking at this all wrong. The guy is sucking a girl's dick because he wants to bring a hot female pleasure while he watches. He probably doesn't care that much how it's done. Conversely, if a man has a pussy and he eats it; to me that's a vastly more gay act.

4

It's semantics, which means it doesn't matter. If a tomato had feelings, and referring to it as a vegetable hurt those feelings, then you'd be wrong to call it a vegetable, even indirectly.

3

Maybe come out of the closet; it would probably make you a much better person.

1

Man here, I want her to pat me on the head and tell me it'll be okay.

If that's gay, slap my ass and call me homo, doesn't change what I know what I am.

21

Hmmm. Is this dude threatened by her physique?

I, personally, don't find her particularly attractive. But the muscles are damn impressive.

How the fuck would this be a psyop for homosexuality?

18

you have to understand gender to be a binary to believe this, and have to believe that the gender binary requires strict adherence in order to maintain a functioning society. this is, of course, a logical fallacy. acceptance of a gender spectrum, or even a rejection of gender as a social construct entirely, is the only sensible way.

2

how can you confidently know you're straight if you never stepped over the fence?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1

Reminds me of the old "Would you rather have sex with a man with a vagina, or a beautiful woman with a penis?" Would be a heck of a threesome.

15

fun fact thats only slightly related!
women bodybuilders will often get breast implants because the chest muscles and the breast aren't in the same location and it looks kinda weird if you have massive chest muscles, the implants even it out some

15

I feel like as you get older, you come into contact with things that make you uncomfortable, and people sort themselves into two groups. Some people lean in to the discomfort and want to know why, and some pull back and reject anything that makes them feel weird.

12
lemmy.world

I have a strong feeling that the people that say that it is gay to feel attracted by a woman with "male" attributes will also say that it is gay to be attracted by a trans woman. Cognitive dissonance all around.

12

Yup. Definitely no cognitive dissonance about how a skinny/emotional man is unattractive to them, but the hyper-masculine beefcake is the male worthy of praise and attraction. Nothing gay about that.

1
programming.dev

I would say it is gay to be attracted to a trans woman. Is this really a spicy take? And for context I do not think it’s gay to be into a muscular woman…

-5
lemmy.blahaj.zone

I might be able to help clear this up for you. Whether or not the take is spicy depends on how transphobic or ignorant the parties involved are, so I'll start by addressing the facts.

  • If you are a woman, then it is gay to be attracted to a trans woman.

  • If you are a man, then it is not gay to be attracted to a trans woman.

  • Regardless of whether you or anyone else is a man, woman, gay, or otherwise, and of whatever physical bits are involved, you are not obligated to be attracted to anyone in particular.

  • If you are a straight man, and you do not visually perceive the trans woman as appearing consistent with your idea of what a woman should look like, then you are unlikely to be attracted to her.

  • If you are a straight man who is attracted to a trans woman and feel uncomfortable with or threatened by it, then you are transphobic. This doesn't necessarily mean you hate trans people, it can just mean that you fear being associated with them or having to think about them.

On spiciness:

  • If you are addressing people who are ignorant of all this, they will not know enough to consider your take spicy.
  • Your statement is too vague to determine whether your intent is transphobic or not. If the context of your take is that you do not consider trans women to be women, then your take will be spicy to people who are not transphobic, but it will not be spicy to people who are transphobic (or ignorant, as mentioned previously).
9

Hello, I've been getting reports. Let's have everyone lay off deciding who is gay or not. This is a meme discussion, not an expert consultation on who is and isn't gay.

1

If you are a man, then it is not gay to be attracted to a trans woman.

Well, sucking a trans woman's cock is not straight, either. I just slap a "queer" label on everything and call it done.

And who fucking cares if it IS gay. (ie if it feels gay to someone.) That's perfectly okay, too! We don't get to tell people how to be sexually attracted to their partner.

0
programming.dev

Ya, being with a trans man would be a lot less gay than a trans woman. Confusing, and probably worthy of the label queer but certainly not nearly as gay as actually sucking dick.

I agree being in a relationship with either of them would be confusing but the simple fact is I don’t like dick... I also don’t like pussy with a beard and chest hair, but I’m not in a place where I have to pick.

-1
programming.dev

Well, I appreciate you for holding a civil discussion from a position of good faith nonetheless. This is quite rare on the internet and unique among the commenters replying to my original post.

Trans women are women. A man being attracted to a woman is...not gay. They only thing that's gay is being attracted to men.

Not muscular women, not short-haired women, not trans women. Men. M.E.N.

5

You’re just out here throwing around generalizations about genders and people’s sexual identities, you should know better. These generalization's and stereotypes are the same feminist women have worked so hard to shirk off.

Your neo stereotype “that sucking dick ain’t gay if she identifies as a woman” is truly something to behold and reveals that you don’t really think about what you’re saying so much as repeat talking points from your ideology.

-2
lemmy.ca

What is binary thinking a strong indicator for. Well, ChatGPT says: "Binary thinking is most prominently an indication of cognitive distortion, borderline personality disorder, low cognitive flexibility, trauma response, authoritarian ideology, and intolerance of ambiguity."

-1
zarkanianreply
sh.itjust.works

I'm not sure I'd even call this binary thinking. It's just a fundamental misunderstanding of how the world works.

If some straight guy gets a boner from looking at a trans woman and thinks that he's now gay or bi or something, he should go have sex with a man. I think he'll be able to figure out the difference very quickly.

2
lemmy.ca

And yet, he's less straight than he previously imagined he was. You are taking a binary perspective that doesn't allow that.

-1
programming.dev

So you disagree that I’m not allowed to be attracted to chicks with dicks? Are you that far gone? Imagine the brainrot required to tag in chatgpt into your discussion and quote it like some ancient philosopher. I bet you thought that was checkmate for me and this discussion?

-2
lemmy.ca

I disagree with your pronouncement that it is definitively gay to suck a trans woman's cock. I also disagree with the prior pronouncement that it is straight.

I bet you thought...

No, I didn't, I thought it was funny. I thought it would be recognized as a cheap rhetorical tactic. Any other source I had used would have said something similar, and it would still have been a cheap shot.

The real point was just to point out that your thinking is painfully binary. It comes across as being super concerned with knowing where the line between gay and not gay is. Conclusion left to reader.

0

Ya kid I’m sorry but you don’t get to take the high road after using a chatgpt quote to take a cheap shot ad hominem during a discussion.

Your continual implications that I must be a repressed homosexual if I’m not into sucking every last drop of semen from a trans woman’s nut sac because she identifies as a woman and I’m an ally is …. wait for it… binary thinking.

0
lemmy.ca

I don't think it's gay or straight. Some bi people are exclusively interested in cis partner. Some bi people are pan. Some trans people are exclusively interested in other trans people. Someone maybe desires cis people and trans men. I think it's a failure of vocabulary, combined with a great deal of emotional charge and taboo.

Now consider my partner, who is non-binary. Traditional labels of sexuality risks misgendering when applied to non-binary people. I find the terms "androphile" and "gynophile" to be pretty useful, since they don't encode the gender of the person having the attraction, but even those are pretty limited.

However, there are fundamentally two kinds of sexuality: queer and repressed.

Sure. There’s a double edged sword to creating new words or terms or reaching further into jargon to communicate your identity. By going this route you end up only being able to communicate to others who understand your jargon, and conversely to your goals communicate less effectively to the average person.

However, there are fundamentally two kinds of sexuality: queer and repressed.
