There have been talks in Europe about how we are dependent on American tech for our digital infrastructure. Some politicians even pushing for an alternative to Apple and Google. I hope everyone else wakes up before it's too late.

I would say that disenfranchised people have the potential of making more valuable art that anyone in the upper class, simply because the have more to tell about the world they are living in. Sadly you are correct that art is a lot about your connections, your name, and finances. Which is also why I dislike most art. I wish it wasn't this way.

It has improved massively, at least in the west. Saying "somewhat" is a massive underestimation and undermindes the fight of women for hundreds of years.

TIL that last month, a rich man in New Jersey killed a pedestrian and left the scene. He was put on trial. The jury found him guilty. 15 minutes later, he walked out free.
Awful article, its truly hard to read. Why is the entire backstory of the victim relevant? We shouldn't need to be told to have empathy for an innocent victim, that should be automatic. The driver deserves a sentence for second degree murder.

I have tried the same on my hacked switch v1. I was running Overcooked 2 from the sd card and got a little frustrated with the load times so I tries moving in to internal storage. Noticed no improvement in load speed at all. But I don't know the speed of my SD card or the speed of the switch, it might as well be the same.

They are excellent predators, but they're not that intelligent. There is always a trade off. Owls are often used as imagery to represent intellect or wisdom but it's pretty much an ancient misunderstanding. Any corvid will beat an owl at intelligence. A true OP Animal would be excellent hunters AND be highly intelligent. Humans are a good example.

I've always considered agnostics to be atheists who just don't wanna debate. At least that's why I used to call myself an agnostic when I was younger.
