How do you avoid AI music?
I find bands by going to shows. I buy vinyl there and add their music to my playlists.

Vandalism and property damage is not violence.
Drawing a weapon on nonviolent protesters is a threat of violence.

Trump Keeps Immunity from I.R.S., a Victory in a Long-Running Feud

I think to an extent. But at the same time, I remember the white pages and when I was growing up the school gave every parent a directory with all the phone numbers for everyone in the school so they could call their classmates if they missed an assignment.
In a local setting, it does make a community stronger. But there is a problem with the Internet and the global reach.

Trump's $14M Reflecting Pool Paint Job Is Now Peeling Off And Floating To The Surface

Debtors prisons are pretty terrible and hurt the vulnerable.
Remove a lot of the legal separation between a corporation and those that own and run it. Make the owners and leadership liable and don't stop at the articles of incorporation.

Trump's $14M Reflecting Pool Paint Job Is Now Peeling Off And Floating To The Surface

The company has 20k in assets. The money paid for the original work has already been spent on various "consultants" and other nontangible expenses. Many to people or companies that only exist on paper and all funnel back to a few individuals.
The company is found liable, but doesn't have the resources to pay for restorations and folds. No money is ever returned. No repairs are made. The $14m is "gone" in the bank accounts of the corrupt.
A new pool company is opened, the assets from the first are sold at bargain prices to the new to liquidate it's measly assets to satisfy courts and bankruptcy requirements. All are ready for a new grift.

Minnesota could prosecute the ICE shooter. Trump can’t pardon him.
"could" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

Too often they treat what these people say as if it the news itself. Unbiased, and a source of truth. Reporting has just become gossip repeating the worse people say.

Long-time iOS user considering switch to Android - Need advice on $1000 flagships
Samsung is on my shit list. Their spammy, ad riddled UI is infuriating.
I don't trust them. They lock their phones down and don't let you remove their bloatware or block their ads/notifications.
Fuck them. Never buy Samsung.

Broadcasting the Vietnam war brought immense pressure against the government and led to tons of rallies and protests.
Make the American people uncomfortable with what is being done in our names. Bring the realities of war home.

Tina Peters asks Colorado appeals court to recognize Trump's pardon, release her from prison
We can't allow him to pardon state crimes.
He doesn't have that authority and we don't need to give him more.
If this goes to the federal supreme court, I honestly don't understand why the state would even recognize it. It's not under federal jurisdiction so that even they don't have a say in this unless the state decides to just accept it for some reason.

CDC should just ignore him. These people only have the power you give them. Every individual can just be simply disobedient. Keep doing your job and ignore what the Republican clowns in charge direct you to do.

Gov. JB Pritzker points to Trump inconsistencies in deployment of National Guard to Chicago
“Why shouldn’t federal troops empower the people in Chicago to live safe lives when the governor and the local mayor (Brandon Johnson) just simply refuse to do their job?” -Vance
What he's saying is "why shouldn't we be able to unilaterally make decisions for the people of a City in direct opposition to those individuals will and what they voted for? And why shouldn't we be able to use force and violence to do it?"
I can only hope there is justice in this world and he gets to face a jury and is held accountable for his words and actions.

Florida teacher loses job for calling student by ‘preferred’ name
Teachers, like all employees, are expected to follow the law.
No. If a law is unjust and immoral it is the imperitive of everyone at the district to disobey it.
Just because it is law, does not make it right.
