I don't want to assume that under 30s' have heard about it. I suspect it's not in the typical public school curriculum anymore.

I think it is still pretty much present here in Germany.

But then again, we have... reasons... to appreciate and extensively use such a kind of helpful teaching base material...

And this is why standardized curriculums are beneficial.
