Many, many women live alone or are the head of their household. I once had a neighbor who did not believe women should be able to own homes by themselves. It's incredible that they are doing this for him. Schizophrenia is one of those disorders that is incredibly difficult to manage, because the person doesn't often recognize that there is something wrong and they need treatment.

It runs in my family, and can really be devastating without enough support.
