Alternative headline: Orphan crushing machine temporarily paused for one man.

I'm happy for him and it's great that the Dodgers are helping him out like this, but the fact that it's necessary in the first place is fucking GROTESQUE.

dodgers also repelled ice from entering their stadium, they're pretty woke. more people should be like the dodgers

Sooooo, a week ago the Dodgers refused ICE entry to the ballpark.

Now I see they continue to keep signed a player who hasn't played for 7 years, and lets be real, likely never will again. Just so he can continue to recieve the help he needs.

Ya know.....it's real hard to paint the Dodgers in the same camp as the Yankees and the Astros as being the villains of the MLB, when they keep putting good out into the world.

St. Louis doesn't have anything else going for it. All their eggs are in the Cardinals basket

How are the Indians/Guardians? And which years did you interact with them?

It's incredible that they are doing this for him. Schizophrenia is one of those disorders that is incredibly difficult to manage, because the person doesn't often recognize that there is something wrong and they need treatment.

It runs in my family, and can really be devastating without enough support.

Goddamnit, as much as I love this, as a lifelong Giants fan, I hate that these stories make me feel positive feelings about the Dodgers

This is the first time I've heard the Astros put on the same level as the Yankees what did I miss? lol

Should not be necessary; anyone should be able to get the healthcare they need. But still very happy for him and lots of respect for the club.

this isn't new. read up about arsene wenger and santi cazorla at arsenal.

wenger is known to have given broad coverage to his players.
