There was a guy cutting my hair who was pretty young, maybe 21 when i was tgere the first time. We had a bit of a language barrier, but he was also almoat half my age, so not much to talk about, which is perfect for me. I gave him a pretty insane tip. Next time i went in there, he immediately recognized me and was liw key eager to cut my hair. He was almost nervous to keep me "entertained" i said something like: we don't really need to talk, you know. I gave hin a slightly bigger tip. Next time same thing, but he took it as a challange to not talk at all, it was glorious. Unfortunately he was only there for two more haircuts.

What comedy movies aged like fine wine?

Reply in thread

This is the only movie i watch almost every year. I don't know if it's just pure nostalgia, but i always just loved the movie. John Candy plays the fuck out of his character. Like Steve Martin legitimate felt bad after the scene in the motel where he gave him a lot of shit. Every time i watch it i think about how absolutely annoying he is, and after his monologue i go: well maybe it's not that bad.

Apparently a lot of people hate that movie.

My first car was a 1992 honda civic. As time went on and cars cot more modern, i yearned for a more modern car. Infotainment seemed like so much fun, all thr convenient knick knacks and gizmos.

Now, unironocally my dream car is my 1992 honda civic from back in the day

At least 18 dead in France as much of Europe grapples with extreme heat

I knew a girl from texas, we sometimes played video games together. She kept telling me that it's not even that hot, it's way hotter in texas. I asked her how they even deal with that heat, because it's 10 degrees cooler here and i almost die until i reach the forrest when i go outside. She was like: tsss, we don't go outside, we are at home with the AC running, AC in the car and go to the AC mall. Oh, so you deal with tye problem by not dealimg with it.

Fitness is 70-80% your diet.

Arrr these goah darn genes.

People either ask me how i'm staying thin or just straight up tell me that i'm lucky. When i tell them that i eat healthy and don't drink and so on, i already loat them, they don't actually wanna hear that. They wanna gear something like: oh i just take this magic pill every morning.

In my civic i installed a "killswitch", which was just a hidden switch to turn on the fuel pump. Not really sure how much that would prevent theft in the real world, but i think it was hard enough to find that someone trying to steal the car would rather give up than spending more time on this car. I had a pretty good sound system, which i wouldn't need anymore. Infotainment is super overrated, my dream setup now is just something that mirrors my phone
