I was a huge Metallica fanboy when I was growing up. Not so much now.

They did a lot for metal, and I'm grateful for that, but I'm more into black, NWOTHM, and atmospheric metal

My favorite point in the description of this very expensive day where you work for him is:" YOU will find that Gene Simmons is very down-to-earth, funny, and knowledgeable on almost any subject." Yeah. Sounds down to earth.

Megadeth's 2004 'Youthanasia' reissue is like this. They quite literally just went in and slid everything up to max. Fucking unlistenable.

I also love when the remaster consists of swapping the panning and nothing else. "Now the lead guitar is 22% to the left instead of 22% to the right, that'll be £15 please".

• You need talent to make it
• Enjoyed by university going intellectuals
• Guaranteed to leave you penniless since no one listens to it

Black Metal :

• Full of Nazis
• Talking about history
• Demands a return to tradition from a thousand years ago, and religion

Prog Metal :

• Even less people listen to it than death metal
• Likely to have LGBTQ support, since cishet women won't participate
• Way too optimistic

Hair Metal :

• In it exclusively for the money and girls
• Girls in the dictionary definition
• I'm calling them talentless, inauthentic pedos.
