Person wearing door dash grandma shirt.... Supposedly drives up to the white house door, and Trump supposedly answerers..

Talk about a load of faked propaganda. There is like 500+staff members at the White House. And no way would the secret service let the president take packages from a random person without screening everything.

right, all bets are off. Perhaps they're feeling overconfident from their warmongering, you know, buffed up, thus getting sloppy

well, due to Polymarket, all bets are ON... but only the privileged few know enough to make those bets.

otherwise.... enjoy the rollercoaster!

For enjoyment (not suicide) I recommend 2-3g of 20%+ cannabis and your favorite bourbon!
that's how I'm making it through my Monday!

I just had an interview at a dispensary. I hope I get the job, not only for cheaper weed, but also cause I need a fuckin job.

20

Befriend good customers and start (keep?) selling grey market on the side, only way to get paid as a weed barista

4
lemmy.world

Here's my thing.....if Polymarket is just being used to pay bets that are obvious scams, eventually (read: real fuckin quick) Polymarket would shut that shit down. The mob don't let cheaters into their casinos and win big every week. They break the guys thumbs, kneecaps, or maybe just off the guy.

So it makes me think that Polymarket isn't so much a legit betting rig, as it is a money washing service probably set up by trumps people. They pump the money into Polymarket behind the scenes, win big every week, and Polymarket funnels the money right back into their accounts. With a traceable paper trail to them free and clear from the IRS.

I have no proof of this. It just doesn't pass the smell test. Then again, trump in person probably smells awful too.

5
lemmy.world

What I don't get is where does all the money they win come from? Somebody has to take the bets and lose right? Seems like an awful lot of money to just be fleecing random rubes.

1

It's bribes / pay to play. People lose as a way to funnel funds without traceability.

Yeah, this fuck invited her to the White House to thank him on live tv for the big beautiful bill removing the requirement to be taxed on tips because she drives DoorDash to pay for her husbands cancer treatment and he fucking snubbed her to talk about himself for 30 minutes and then she invited her and her husband to the UFC fight he’s holding at the whitehouse.

What a disaster for this poor woman and for this country. Our own personal Nero.

Yes, as I read the grandma door dasher shirt, I don't think they understand how that's nothing to be proud of. The nation has failed those people that should be enjoying retirement instead of gig work for the elite class as modern slaves until they drop. Didn't even know about the husband which makes it so much more tone deaf.

17

If it was that easy to get to trump, I assume someone would have door-dash'd him something lethal already.

21
lemmy.today

It was supposed to be a PR stunt about No Taxes on Tips, that's why the press was all hanging around to take pictures when the Door Dasher showed up.

Then Trump comes out and the press asks him about his blasphemous Easter post, and he offered his outlandish excuse that he was supposed to be a doctor, completely blowing his PR stunt.

He probably didn't even tip her, he's a proven scumbag cheapskate. Just the pleasure of serving him is tip enough.

15

offered his outlandish excuse that he was supposed to be a doctor

It'll be good enough for his base, who is willing to believe anything to rationalize his behavior.

6

That's what it is. It doesn't have to be a plausible story, just a story, something they can repeat with confidence, and just scream "TDR!" at anyone who tries to mock them.

3
lemmy.world

Doordash walking up to the oval office and trump taking delivery in person........ Very plausible /s

We see straight through this due to his bad acting inability to act and non existing sense of humor nor reality, Yet still he could not help himself .....

Trump quipped to Simmons sarcastically: “This doesn’t look staged.”

70

What’s extra crazy is that when he asked her if she was a supporter, it wasn’t a resounding yes, she said “mmm…maybe”, lol

Like they can’t even fucking get someone to act like they like him anymore.

14
lemmy.world

Read the article the whole fucking thing waa stage and mostly likely wasn't a real dasher. Says he tip her $100 I wonder if it was also fake? She surely looked at that bill as if it was.

42

Just the conversations had orchestrating this. The bravado on how good of an idea it would be to stage the president getting mcds fucking gig delivered is peak. Peak what I don't know. Maybe if they were driving a cyber truck. I need to speak with the person that doesn't see right through this. They need slapped with a fish.

Full text of Melania Trump statement denying links to Epstein

I have never had any knowledge of Epstein’s abuse of his victims. I was never involved in any capacity—I was not a participant, was never on Epstein’s plane, and never visited his private island.

I have never been legally accused or convicted of a crime in connection with Epstein’s sex trafficking, abuse of minors, and other repulsive behavior.

For context:

Decades of photographic and testimonial evidence repudiate every word of her statement other that the technical fact that she has never been convicted of any crimes related to Jeffery Epstein... yet...

There are decades of videographer, photographic, textual, and testimonial evidence that she absolutely and without a doubt both know and was very close with Jeffrey Epstein _ for many, many years) before AND after meeting and marrying Trump. This is - and has long been established - in not only the Trump-Epstein Files, but in many other outside documentation.

Melania was a widely-circulated whore for almost a decade before even being introduced to Trump. Just Trump's type. And it's been widely documented.

25

Not that I really doubt it, but where is this documentation about her being a whore?

6

the Epstein files.

"whore" is, admittedly, and overstatement. "slutty" would have been a more appropriate word.

Wasn't she semi-nude in some of the pics already released? That would make her a sex worker, maybe? She probably was trafficked at a young age. She seems like she probably was a sex worker at the very least. Whore seems harsh for anyone.

3

She was officially a model, so semi nude might still fit her work. Even full nude might be just art or legit money income 🤷

7

No way fucking way. I first saw the photograph of the Door Dasher and Lumpty Trumpty. My first reaction was "This must be AI slop."

Then it turns out to be true!

34

Not slop, but definitely staged. How many old white ladies are delivering your door dash orders, especially while wearing a shirt that says Door dash on it?

There is a non-zero chance Trump has a sponsorship deal with McDonald's.

18
lemmy.world

IMO McDonald's essentially endorsed him in 2024 when they remained silent on that stupid stunt he did at one of the franchises in Pennsylvania.

I'm sure there's gotta be some deals going on.

11

I wish they'd come out and denounce him. You just know he'd have a tantrum and swear off McDonalds forever. But it would deprive him of something he truly enjoys in life, which he deserves, because he's a cunt.

4

Running around so much, I used to get a McChicken as a snack once every other week. But since that shamelessly staged video of him serving fries to 3 people I haven't been back.

I know I'm not hurting the billion dollar corporation, but I'll sooner go a little hungry then give them a dime.

4

Probably not, if he did he would definitely talk about, and just like most other companies they don't mind him saying good things but do not want any real ties.

This feels questionable that a delivery person would ever have such direct contact with a president.

More ai news slop

11

It was a stunt so he could tout his tax-free tips bullshit. They roped in an old grandma and somehow thought showing her having to work to pay off her husband's medical debt in her elder years wasn’t dystopian as fuck.

But hey, $100 tip. Orphan-crushing machine for the win!

20

I think they summed up the USA pretty nicely in this photo op: the average person has to work a precarious job until they're dead to serve the needs of rich fucks destroying the world.

12

IIRC, I saw somewhere that this was an entirely staged event and the Doordash driver was flown in from Arkansas.

There is a video. Its a PR OP from Trump. Its just staged.

15
lemmy.world

Interesting. Guess him ordering doordash is supposed to distract us from the fact he is a pedophile somehow?

8

It was a stunt to try to remind people that he pushed for no taxes on tips, which was a part of both his and Harris' platforms.

Since inflation is again going up and particularly gas prices are up and he has nearly zero good news, he has to try to milk his tip tax policy as much as he can.

10

Naw, It's real, It was set up by a PR agency with a real photographer.

This is propaganda.

11

It's real, but 1000% staged. No way secret service would have let an unvetted Doordash driver approach the front door of the White House, let alone meet the President in person. It's a publicity stunt.

Despite this, some people still believe it's an organic moment, as if any Doordash driver would be comfortable just standing there as a political prop for two hours instead of running more deliveries.
