It's the final week of the regular season! Seattle and California are each vying for 2nd, while defending champion Free Jacks are in a struggle to hold onto their 4th place spot with Old Glory DC and Anthem RC nipping at their heels. If New England loses to Chicago, which seems quite likely at this point, then either DC or Anthem can take the spot. Anthem would need a bonus point win to leapfrog a losing Free Jacks squad. Without the bonus point then Old Glory could still secure the playoff spot with just a single bonus point (either losing by less than 7 or with a try bonus point).

This post calls back to this post covering Fender's default judgement in German court granting a copyright on the Stratocaster shape.
Fender / FMIC have sent multiple cease and desist letters threatening to commence lawsuits for copyright infringement of their Stratocaster body shape. A shape that up until 2 months ago was public domain.
A couple of other videos on the matter:

https://www.chasebliss.com/big-time
Big Time revisits the mixed-up circuitry of rackmount delays from the early 80s, where advanced analog engineering was used to prop up crude digital systems. It includes both a stereo analog preamp at the input stage, and a stereo analog limiter within the delay’s feedback loop. Inside you will find misbiased modulations, dissolving loops, sequenced echoes, and all of the space stuff you could ever want. The anything-is-possible of digital, the everything-sounds-good of analog.
It also comes with a big time price tag of $999 (US).

If you look here 5 of the 6 models have a compensated wrap-around bridge, and only 1 has the separate tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail. Then if you just look at all the SG listings the humbucker models pretty consistently have the two piece system.
But then when you look at P90 Les Pauls, it's much more mixed with both bridge styles.
In this video, I sit down with ChatGPT and quiz it on guitar pedal history - the Tube Screamer, the Big Muff, the Maestro FZ-1, DOD, JHS, Jimi Hendrix's rig... the works. And what you're about to watch is kind of alarming. It hallucinates pedals that don't exist. It agrees with things I KNOW are wrong when I push back. It confidently states dates it can't actually source. And then when I ask it to prove anything... it can't.

The MLR 2026 season kicks off this weekend with the California Legion hosting Anthem RC tomorrow (March 28th) at 6 PM Eastern. Both teams have had significant turnover since 2025, as have the rest of the league, so it'll be interesting to see which teams find cohesion faster.

The RRS will replace the television match official (TMO) with an In Stadium Replay Operator (ISRO), which will enhance real-time decision-making and ensure consistency across matches. The on-field referee team, headed by the center referee, will remain the primary authority for match control, and RRS will support and enable the on-field team to make better, more accurate decisions. This change will speed up the game, ensuring fans spend less time waiting for reviews and more time enjoying the match – whether they are watching it in person or on a broadcast.
