People who have never owned a home have probably never owned a toilet
Until now I'd never thought about the fact that I own 2 toilets for the first time in my life, so thanks I guess.

Xboxes and PS5s are PCs now. They use the same AMD CPU and GPU architectures that you can buy and put in your own PC. Xboxes even run a modified version of Windows. The restrictions placed on them are entirely artificial, as is Rockstar's choice to not release on PC simultaneously.

You wouldn't shoot a policeman.
You wouldn't steal his helmet.
You wouldn't go to the toilet in it.
You wouldn't give the helmet to his grieving widow... then steal it again!

The Central Synagogue attack had no clear connection to Mamdani. He’s still being blamed.
This is exactly what happened after the Bondi shooting that targeted a Hannukah festival last year. Conservative media and politicians (and even fucking Netanyahu himself) went absolutely feral blaming the government despite the fact that ASIO stopped monitoring the shooters in 2019 under the previous government, and that one of the shooters was born in Australia, with the other (his father) having migrated here about 30 years under the conservative Howard government.
Earlier in 2025 our government recognised the state of Palestine. Ever since the shooting the Epstein class has been astroturfing the far right here and doing their damnedest to destroy the government. I don't believe that's a coincidence.

Retailer denies memory replacement due to 4x increase in DDR5 pricing, says price increase would equate to an 'upgrade' for the customer — Australian retailer refuses to replace faulty Corsair kit
Reply in thread
Australian consumer law specifically protects against this. The consumer has a choice between a repair (if possible), a refund or a replacement; the retailer doesn't get to choose for them. At today's prices, replacement is the only sensible choice. The retailer has to take it up with the manufacturer to cover their costs.

Out of character, super earth is obviously not good, but I don't think the helldivers are, necessarily. More victims imo
Helldivers are absolutely victims of Super Earth's leadership. The tutorial shows just how little training they actually receive, then they're immediately frozen and shipped off to be used as disposable cannon fodder. Their missions are almost always accomplished by throwing Helldivers at the objective until the ones lucky enough to survive complete it, or they run out of bodies.

It's a long bow to draw, but you could argue that AMD contributed to killing Clear Linux by taking back a lot of market share (particularly in the lucrative server market), forcing Intel to make big budget cuts, which included Clear Linux.
In reality, Intel's problems are largely self-inflicted. However, I don't think they'd be in as much trouble as they are if AMD wasn't also in such a strong competitive position.
