Ban private jets to address climate crisis, says Thomas Piketty
I would love to see large SUVs and trucks taxed to hell and back.

Morgan Spurlock dead: Super Size Me director dies at 53
Except he lied that he was sober and was actually an alcoholic and drinking during the making of that film, which directly affected his health and the perception around his health in relation to McDonalds food.

Value of X has fallen 71% since purchase by Musk and name change from Twitter
How the hell was it even worth 44 billion? I struggle to understand how twitter was ever that important and never once found a need to use it myself. I always found it strange that governments and other public entities would use it, like a city making posts about traffic disruptions, or a police dept showing off the latest drug bust via hashtags and url shortening. Fucking strange world.

We'll get there one day
I also noticed that religion was absent from most of the star trek stories, and usually, if at all, was associated with an underdeveloped culture, and they would most likely be warlike and a threat.

I bought my first table saw
I'm a cabinet installer, and I use a table saw every day. Do not put your hand anywhere near the saw blade when it is running. Use push sticks and never pull a part through from the back of the saw. If the cuts are getting harder to make, put a new sharp blade. Dull saw blades are the most dangerous and cause most kickbacks. You're smart to respect the dangers but with care and attention you can use them without much risk.

It isn't controversial.
I always reflect on the French, and the retribution they inflicted on thousands of Germans when they were liberated. Eventually the French government had to step in, because the revenge was getting a bit out of hand perhaps.

I read in a book written in the 90s that said in 60's the US DoD commissioned a study of threats to America, and the single biggest one was global warming. Not Russians, or Chinese, nope it was this. They knew then.
