I don't think a subculture of people looking for live music makes this an unpopular opinion. The vast majority of people would and do prefer to play studio music over live recordings. I'm a musician and live music lover and still would select studio albums pretty much every time.

My cat got cancer from the rabies vaccine, had to get his leg amputated, and now has a month or two left to live, so it's not completely outrageous to be weary. It's called an injection site or vaccine sarcoma. I'm not anti-vax, though. But I am sad about my cat's declining health.

I have to disagree, though. There is tons of great music from all genres coming out all the time, you just have to find it because the industry has changed so much.

Hell, plenty of talented artists from the 90's (and other decades) like De La Soul and Beck are still releasing quality albums.

Maybe think about discovering new music as a bonding experience you can share with your kid.

Car drivers break the law at a far higher rate than cyclists. The are way more accidents not involving bikers. Sorry people being healthy and helping the environment while reducing traffic is a slight inconvenience to you while you sit in a climate controlled box.
