I think the artist posts these so I'll put this as gently as possible in case they're reading: Almost every single comic I've seen by this person takes a joke, often a pun, and stretches it as far as possible, and usually it's stretched so thin that it just doesn't land as a punchline.

I'm not sure if the artist is going for something that I'm missing, but whatever they're going for, it doesn't always seem to help the joke.

How does your vote not matter if there aren't other people to vote? Like what the hell? Everyone is an individual. The "your vote doesn't matter" argument implies you think that everyone else in your community have no free will or agency and can't be convinced one way or the other.

If everyone in those areas decided not to vote because "their vote doesn't matter" then your vote would be able to swing any election.

Theory of mind is a basic skill that everyone should learn.

There are a few very lucky small towns which are pockets of leftists in the middle of gorgeous American nature. You just have to really look for them.

It's so sad, because veganism is a good force in our culture. Look at all of the vegan meat alternatives and more and more restaurants that have to have at least vegetarian options in certain areas. That wasn't a thing 20 years ago.

Vegan diets help the environment and improve health. But many vegans get this brain rot, probably a consequence of a superiority complex where they have to police everything around them. It happens in a lot of communities.

I'm not a vegan. But the idea has me eating less and less meat every year.
