Are you good at varying?

It's like that meme one meme where Joseph Gordon-Levitt says "I have eight safe foods" and Zoey Deschanel agrees with him out loud but we can tell she is actually thinking "I have ate safe foods."

From the movie "Eight (8) Days of (dating) Summer"

Yeah tell your doctor that even if the door of perception is closed you can still lower the blinds and look through the peephole. Maybe catch someone at the mailbox from time to time.

And the nose is like those tubes that carry away the humid air from the laundry room.

Parents are charged after their son, 7, is struck dead by a driver

They gotta blame the people who designed the city. If these kids were a small fraction of the same age and in Japan they would be on TV for braving their first solo trip into the market to buy a vegetable for dinner. It would be a cute TV show called "Old Enough" on Netflix with English subtitles instead of a cruel reality on this side of the same planet where a kid is now dead.

That part of it isn't the fault of the parents, but the fault of the society we have created.

Btw that TV show is a few decades old but my point is that the world is possible. We don't need to be like Japan was in that TV show, but we do need more walkable cities.

Inside Out (movie) emotions

I think the one that stands out as least accurate is the double-disgust being "prejudice." It's not that's it's really wrong it's just that all the other doubled ones are just amplified and I'm not sure that prejudice is really a "disgust but amplified", personally.

Wtf even is this community?

It's like one of those scam posts where bots ask for a link and then say thanks so that the victims click a link where they can put their credit card info into? But it's an entire community of this premise instead of just a random spammy post here and there that you see before a moderator bans the poster? Weird.

I have renauds syndrome where my hands and feet are usually dead blocks of ice like a corpse that the Donner party couldn't eat because it got too cold.

My feet are so hairy that I often wonder what utopia of a world I would live in if Lord of the Rings never existed.

I'm with you on being skeptical of the claim that hairy toes are a sign of good circulation.

Here's the source code for the unofficial Signal app used by Trump officials

Reply in thread

If you read the blog post one day older than this one from before he got the code, he speaks more about the Israeli ties. The CEO for TeleMessage is former IDF.

https://micahflee.com/tm-sgnl-the-obscure-unofficial-signal-app-mike-waltz-uses-to-text-with-trump-officials/

I haven't spent a lot of time looking into TeleMessage, but what I did find at a quick glance is that several of the executives on the teams page list Israeli universities in their bios, and the CEO, Guy Levit, says that, "From 1996 until 1999, Guy served as the head of the planning and development of one of the IDF’s Intelligence elite technical units."

The idea of summing up "years of experience" between multiples of people always feels like one of those "lies, damn lies, and statistics" type of statistics.

Like brain drain is a real thing and they are still making an important point but "200 years of experience, maybe even more!" doesn't really feel like it means anything concrete for an argument.

Fuck, I am commenting on one of those mindless images of text with absolutely zero information on it. Why am I engaging with this? This is worthless.

The managers interviewing you at BestBuy aren't gonna blame the managers at RadioShack for RadioShack going out of business. If you think being a retail manager is not enough of an accomplishment to put in a resume then this meme just isn't aimed at your tax bracket.
