This would make me use it again, it's just gathering dust since I have a gaming laptop (bought on sale years ago, much better than the ps5), but mostly just use blender and watch tv, would be sick if it made it so I can play simracing games on it with my moza wheel because I never want to close out of my projects on my laptop.

It'd be nice to use it as a homeserver too, just leave it connected to the router and throw some selfhosted apps on there or whatever. Be so much more useful as another linux pc now that I don't really game and if I do it's never an exclusive. Just don't care for linear single player story games.

Im most social and my brain is finally working at 100% after being awake for 10 hours, realized in college when id be brain dead all day but at night itd go brr, just get all my assignments done when It finally felt fully tirned on, way more social after being awake for a while, napping only makes me more tired

Old computer no wifi, as a kid I just explored the computer menus and played the few offline games, drew in paint, by like 10 I had swapped to adobe flash off some piraxy yt videos, maybe load it up with software that could be fun for kids to use

Scratch is a good one, might be too young, but learn to think like a coder while playing around

I like shortcuts, I have some that trigger a-shell and ffmpeg/yt-dlp for conversion and/or downloading. A chore to make so I tend to use shortcuts other ppl made and modify them for my needs.

I swapped back (250gb paritition on my 2nd internal ssd) for iracing and a few other nonsupported games. (and to do some initial hotas setup, moza updates, etc.) It's wild how slow windows is just in regular use, even opening the settings and clicking stuff takes 5 years while it's all snappy and fast on linux.

The way lemmy works it makes more sense to just swap to a seperate instance and user and keep your nsfw seperated. Better than depending on apps/frontends having an easy way to filter it.
