Vibe Coding
I have tried vibe coding on a couple small hobby projects and it did not workout in any of the cases, zero out of 4 or 5 ish attempts. It will get you kind of close, but it takes way way too long and it doesn't work so you are actually just getting started. Are there actually techniques to vibe coding or is this all bullshit? I don't want to spend more time looking into it...

Allbirds was founded with a focus on environmental conservation. Its pivot to AI is leaving that behind.
Well, it appears that they acquired their capital as a company focused on a moral cause that people were excited to get behind/support and quality products people wanted to buy. It also appears as though once they achieved the goal of capital acquisition to a certain level (or they saw diminishing returns in the shoe business), they completely shifted their focus towards maximizing shareholder value with their acquired capital, and this would also appear to mean abandoning the customer base that put them there: people who bought the shoes that they sold.
It's an interesting example. It could, in theory, serve as a template: champion a moral cause to secure capital and abandon said cause after reaching the financial goal.
It could also be fair to say that they saw no future in the shoe business and the pivot was out of necessity. I would have to dig deeper, but this is as far as I go today, thanks for your time. Peace.

Maybe it's that there is nothing wrong with a man explaining something that he is excited about and that there is also nothing wrong with women feigning attention in these situations because it's a social response to promote group thinking as opposed to individual effort?
Maybe it's only natural and we don't have to hate ourselves for it? Sure you might not be happy to play that role every single time, but you don't have to because you are free to choose.
Also, you can isolate yourself from other people if you do not wish to have discourse with men or women that will no doubt involve them explaining things to you that they are passionate about or excited in the moment.
I would certainly not criticize the woman or the man for these behaviors because I see it as human.

I been playing >30 years. You DO NOT have to create music that has ANY commercial value.
I was happy to play whatever I want all this time. I am dope, I do not need any confirmation from anyone.
If I play a song you like, you will say I am good. If I play something you don't like, you will say I am bad.
I will not change what I am doing to make money off it. That's it.
Play what you want. I encourage you to create a new style of music, what could be greater as a musician?

I made a Super Fun, Open-source Platform for learning Japanese inspired by Monkeytype
I tried it and really like how open and not contrived (compared to there language apps) it is. Can you add a grammar section? I am at the point where I have the hiragana down and am okayish with Katakana, I know a lot of words/vocabulary but still feel like I cannot do anything with it because I don't grasp the grammar and conjugation-like rules of the language. Thank you.

US pursuing stake in struggling chipmaker Intel, commerce secretary says
Reply in thread
Intel would be an example of a chipmaker that should fail but they won't let it because it's also an unofficial asset. It will literally never fail no matter how backward it gets and they have been backward for decades.

Burnout, sick leave from work, recovery (discussion)
Don't know if this helps, but I will share my experience anyways. I left my job last August, sparing the details it was unbearable. I am just now, climbing out of the hole. I have been busy continuing my education in the meantime and working to improve my marriage and immediate family relationships. It has been an experience. The way I judge is to gauge my interest and pleasure in activities that I formerly enjoyed before falling in the abyss. When I am burnt out, nothing is enjoyable and I find pleasure in almost nothing, except sex. So I would say watch out for changes in mood and confirm changes in behavior, if things get really bad it might take 6 or so months to stabilize. From my perspective, it's all about having the resources to fight your battle, and most people lack the resources when they need them. Survival is the key, bide your time, stack your resources and make your move. It is never too late. You are not doomed.

op amp performance: what factors affect quality? Example case ua741 (bottom) versus NE5532 (top) audio signals, why is NE5532 better, what specific factors contribute to its superiority?
Reply in thread
Thank you, yes I specifically saw a breakdown in my sin wave at ~60 kHz on ua741, and NE5532 got to ~650 kHz before I saw distortion. I thought that was awesome. I will study the layouts as you suggested. Any other advice? Does this also explain the noise floor difference or no?

Thank you, perhaps it is the CMRR that I need to explore? Perhaps this explains the noise floor difference? Thank you.
