Best case scenario it splits the republican voter base up a little bit. They have enough clout in their own circles to actually make a dent. I think one of the biggest reasons republicans won is because they are so unified in their hatred at the moment. Meanwhile, democrats are constantly divided on everything and can't even agree with most of their voter base on a single topic. They're all still garbage people, but I'd like to see them punch each other for once instead of always punching down.

It's the same vibe as talking shit on Latino immigrants but than taking your family to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Or how they talk shit about pride month and LGBTQ+ and say they deserve a parade for being straight all the while LGBTQ+ porn is extremely popular in conservative areas. They want all the benefits of other races, cultures, and sexualities without any of the prejudice that they themselves are creating.

I would but it's a work computer and it's out of my hands. I've already tried running mint on one of them and about 70% of the software we use doesn't even remotely work.

Basically what they are saying is that there's a possibility of something called a "gravistar" that would be a stable mass held together by dark energy instead of a singular like a black hole. Basically from what I read, it would have even weirder physics but would look exactly the same as a black hole from our outside perspective. My guess is that, in essence, if there's no way for us to tell the difference between a black hole or a gravistar than they could potentially just all be gravistars and we'd never know.

It's something that I try to emphasize to people that are pro-life these days. If you 100% believe that abortion is murder and that every life is secred, I wholeheartedly respect your opinion even if I disagree with you. But something pro-life people need to realize is that the majority of men on the pro-life side do not give a single fuck about whether or not abortion is murder and they just want to control what women do. What they are saying has absolutely nothing to do with what they actually believe and they're just using your vote to push their own agenda. Saying "abortion is murder" is just the Trojan horse they use to force you to have their children even if you die.

Look, I worked in restaurants for half of my adult life and even though the system is fucked for tips it's not like the wait staff has a say in the matter so punishing them by not tipping is completely pointless. That being said, I'm pretty sure 90% of wait staff agree with you about tipping but are unfortunately stuck in the system just like the rest of us. But even when considering all of that it's absolutely insane that people are expected to tip when it costs $100+ just to go out to eat with a few friends.

Basically what I'm saying is that it's generally a more complicated issue than it looks from the outside, but the long story short is that the staff are the ones getting fucked over by everyone else and it doesn't make sense to punish them. It's infinitely more helpful to leave a negative review than it is to not tip the wait staff. If you do that it actually brings attention to the issue and hurts the business instead of just punishing someone for trying to do their job.

Notice how they're mad at the video and not the car, manufacturer, or the CEO. It's a huge safety issue yet they'd rather defend a brand that obviously doesn't even care about their safety. Like, nobody is gonna give you a medal for being loyal to a brand.

Honestly, the secret is not being a publicly traded company. All the others have to make the shareholders happy while steam just does steam. If the line doesn't have to constantly go up you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you're still making profit. And if what you're doing is already working you don't need to add gimmicks or advertisements to milk it as much as you can just to appease the shareholders.
