Whats his problem?

Honestly, the secret is not being a publicly traded company. All the others have to make the shareholders happy while steam just does steam. If the line doesn't have to constantly go up you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you're still making profit. And if what you're doing is already working you don't need to add gimmicks or advertisements to milk it as much as you can just to appease the shareholders.

PayPal Honey steals affiliate links and lies about finding the best coupons

I never trusted Honey to begin with but this goes far deeper than I ever expected. I always wondered "yeah, but where do they get their money?" I always figured it was just a way to take people's data and sell it to data brokers (which they probably also do, let's be honest) but this is just blatant fraud. Stealing affiliate money from links and having companies pay them to purposefully give out worse coupon codes is just devious through and through. It's basically free money and everybody else, whether influencer or consumer, get fucked over in the process.

Stardew Valley dethrones Valve classic Portal 2 as Steam’s top-rated game

And I'd say that it is 100% deserved. Stardew Valley is a once in a lifetime kind of game and has one of the best developers you could ask for. Free new content and updates for 10 years and it's still like $20 and frequently on sale. The developer actually tweeted out once that if he ever charged for new content that he'd want everyone to publicly shame him.

“I swear on the honor of my family name, i will never charge money for a DLC or update for as long as I live. Screencap this and shame me if I ever violate this oath.”

Stardew Valley is the gaming industry at its best and one of the best indie games out there.

Squirrels are ‘vaping’ e-cigarettes after mistaking fruity aromas for food

Disposable vapes are genuinely evil. With the lithium inside the batteries they are significantly more dangerous than throwing a cigarette out your car window. They have chips inside them with metals that can be recycled and they are made of a hard plastic that'll be around for thousands if years. Whenever I mention this to people I know they agree with me that it's evil but continue to use disposable vapes because it's more convenient. I keep telling my roommates that it's massively cheaper to get a refillable one and they always agree but never buy one. Every time I go to the vape shop to get juice and coils I drop off a literal tub of disposable vapes from my roommates.

I'm so tired of people being complacent in this and I'm tired of making this rant. People will get nervous about batteries when they see a phone explode in someone's pocket but they'll throw that shit on the ground or in the trash without a second thought. Just go back to smoking if you wanna throw shit on the ground. It's better for the environment and public safety that way anyway.
