Gen Z is turned off by onscreen sex, wants no-mance over romance, a new study finds

The younger generation is having less sex despite abstinence only education, not because of it. We have multiple studies showing "abstinence only" education is one of the worst ways to prevent teen pregnancy, yet religious conservatives continue to push for this because they would rather control women than lower teen pregnancy.

Fox News Left Shell Shocked by Dems’ Election Night Romp

Republicans have never cared about children.
Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren't they? They're all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you. They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you're preborn, you're fine; if you're preschool, you're fucked.

Republicans do not care about freedom or personal liberty. Texas is pretty red with the exception of the major cities. The majority of the state is roughly in favor of these decisions.

600k at 3%, you need 229k down (38%) to pay $2,025/mo (assuming extremely low property tax and insurance).
850k at 8.5%, you need 40k down (4.71%) to pay $6,850/mo (assuming extremely low property tax and insurance).
40k seems like a much more reasonable down payment....
The 600k house at 3% with 40k down would be $2,821/mo. Almost $4k/mo difference from the 850k example.

Eh, lemmy -> reddit is not without scaling issues, but reddit doesn't upload 10s of terabytes of video every day, much smaller infrastructure required than youtube.

Memory prices tipped to fall as China starts flooding the market with DRAM and NAND chips
Reply in thread
The screenshots appear to reveal details about a 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 module featuring CXMT memory chips.
It's not like they're selling chips to consumers. Memory providers will be using the parts. Not saying it won't be import controlled. But seems less likely.

Most of these people don't think they'll be rich. But they are married to the idea of "hierarchy." As long as they can exist in a world where they have more advantages than women or poc or queer people, they will gladly defend a trillionaire destroying American democracy.
