PS6 and next Xbox console are both aiming for 2027 release, separate reports claim | VGC
They should release consoles when there's a significant leap in hardware that devs are waiting to take advantage of. The last few console releases have been boring. Don't get me started on not only the lack of games but the lack of new types of games. Too many remakes and remasters demanding high prices.

How often do you upgrade your PC?
When I can't play a new game I want to play, I'll upgrade. This varies. My last computer i7 920 with a GTX 470 lasted me for a long time -- around 9 years. I have a Ryzen 2700x with a 3060TI that I built in 2018 and added the newer GPU in 2021. I'll probably upgrade next year so around 7-8 years. Before that I had a Pentium 4, Pentium 2, Pentium 1 so those are roughly 4 years between but progress was more impactful back then.
Averaging things out -- I'd say 6-7 years between major builds.

If she looks at the case and frees these people, it's an admission of guilt. If she doesn't do anything, she was made aware of the issue before congress and will look even worse later on.

Aren't they recognized as a terrorist group vs a government? I'm guessing legitimacy is the main issue here.

Won't they try and do that with any candidate of their choice? Maybe we should just, I don't know, vote on it?

Interesting background on the word. Thanks for sharing..I don't think that's it, because wouldn't they be for hard working people then? Like the people doing the actual hard labor on the farms?

Mark Zuckerberg says Meta will build data center the size of Manhattan in latest AI push
Reply in thread
That was an interesting substack article. I'm not super deep into the AI stuff and never heard of Gary Marcus. I agree that they went to scaling LLMs first because 1 - it's easier to scale vs tie in new ways of doing things and 2 - companies like Nvidia were in line to make a ton of money as crypto mining started to fall out of favor and real-time ray tracing wasn't giving them as big of advantage as they hoped.
They are still making a ton of dough!

Question about N64 and region locking.
When I was a kid, I got a Japanese N64 imported to the US. I tried to put a US cartridge in but it didn't fit. My friend and I cut out the plastic inside where the cartridges go that was physically blocking and it worked.
Companies sold some kind of extension to get around this but we didn't want to wait.
