I know this is a thing on Reddit where idiot kids will circumvent ToS and subreddit rules by deleting their commment because it remains as a notification, while removing any reportable trace, but that’s not how Lenny works. Deleted comments show that a person commented but does not show they comment.

So, why is this so common?

But, seriously- how does this even work. I got an update a while ago with an advert that free live TV is a thing now, but it’s never worked. Like, not even one time.

It just says:

Live TV on PS5 Isn’t Available Right Now. We’re having trouble connecting to Live TV services. Try checking back later.

And it never connects.

So, reddit’s shit platform is set up so that if you use their default news link it shows subs you have filtered out. Well, I happen to filter subs I’ve been banned from and the cowards at r/worldnews banned me because I said a mean thing about America a while back.

As it turns out… I had not noticed the sub when I was using an alt account and posted a comment to their little walled-garden, and now it seems I’m permabanned from all of Reddit.

And I mean- every account I make is instantly banned-

So my question is:

How can I block all of that shithole from showing up on iOS web searches. I cannot interact with the site. So I’d rather it not appear in web searches altogether.

When I try, it just stays there.

Hear me out:

We can all probably all agree that oftentimes, it already looks like something straight out of a fever dream, right? And our subconscious being as efficient as it is- doesn’t care to determine the minutiae of things like… the number of fingers a person has, or whether or not their limbs behave appropriately according to locked-down physics.

So maybe it’s that we find it so off-putting because we recognize it, but not from where, and this is bad because unfamiliar familiarity triggers discomfort.
