https://flathub.org/en/apps/app.vger.voyagerOpen linkView original on vger.socialMeh, if it is then it is (e.g. I could use another app, or like... actually make a password that I can remember hehe:-), but either way I'd at least like to know.
This is the second time now that a week after I log into the app a pop-up has come up titled "Login Session Expired", continuing with "Your login session is no longer valid. Please login again." The options are to login or logout, I can't simply click away. Force-closing the app does work to get around this requirement - except obviously I lose my place in whatever I was reading through, but I can vote and comment again. So obviously the "expiration" was false if I can continue beyond it, but I forget for how long that works before the expiration dialogue comes back again.
Is this normal behavior? If not then are there any ideas why I am seeing it - like perhaps my installation via FDroid rather than the Play Store could be a factor? If it is, then how do people usually deal with this - the force close and reopen method I've been using so far?
Would it be possible to delete messages from the inbox? There are still some aholes on lemmy that send inappropriate messages but I can't delete them.
I use compact mode.
Cleared cache.
This does not appear on all posts, or even on all posts by bot. This was just the first one I found.

Anyone else seeing this issue?
I have several words for content that I don't want to see. However I'm still seeing those words. The filters don't seem to be working for me.
Is anyone else having this or are yours working properly?
I just found the "Content Language" in Piefed Preferences (on desktop) and enabled it, after removing the foreign language instances I had blocked previously. The preferences appears to be 99% working on desktop browser (chromium), but not working on mobile via voyager.
Is Piefed's "Content Language" an enabled feature on Voyager? If so, how can I enable it on Voyager, if it's already enabled on my piefed account?
Thank you for a lovely app!
Sometimes when scrolling, I'd like to have the option to autoplay sound, I cant seem to find any setting that allows me to do this.
In the best of worlds this could also be a per-community setting, or toggleable (like remembering the setting from previous videos).
If nothing else I'd like the option to move the mute button to the left hand side, to be able to reach it one handed.
For the past several days, it has nearly impossible to upload an image via the Voyager app on iOS using my lemmy.world account.
Every now and then, an image gets through. And uploading using the website works every time, so I don’t know what the problem is.
Edit: This problem now extends to the Voyager web interface through a desktop browser.
You can see a post with comments on my feed.
When i now open the post, i see no comments. I have no word blocks nor are the users/instances blocked. I can see the comments on my instances webview (feddit.org).
Does anybody have any hints as to why this is happening?
Using an old phone with android 7, voyager runs great. But recently I've noticed an error saying the app is limited and I should update system webview.
On clicking the link to the app store, I only see a button to remove updates, which makes me think I'm on the most recent version for this Android.
Even so, I still get the red icon at the bottom bothering me. It's purely anesthetics, but I'd appreciate some way to remove the warning.
And yes, I understand this is a very old phone, but if the app works someone is going to use it :P
Is there an easier way to block a user directly with the … menu on their username in a post versus clicking on their profile, then clicking block?
( If this post is against the rules please feel free to remove and accept my apologies.)
I just wanted to say thanks to the devs and the users who continue to make this ever adapting app and community great especially in light if the tesseract shitstorm.
I was a Reddit users first 10+ years and watched it grow and eventually decay ( Aaron Schwarz death I personally felt was the big beginning of the cracks along with r/jailbait amongst other shitty subs)
This app has helped me get off of the algorithm ride of dopamine and instant gratification I didn’t even know I was actively a part of I had left Facebook ages ago along with instagram and never got involved with TikTok.
Yes, lemmy isn’t perfect but what it strives and continues to do remind me of the old excitement I felt loading up Netscape navigator and old forums and discovers niche content. Yes I know it’s not as big as the others but to me it’s a breath of much needed fresh air and have talked with people who i agreed with, debated with and changed my perspective on things I do in my everyday life. From lowering my own footprint for the environment and even completely jumping into Linux on both my main Computers.
I just wanted to say thanks to you all for giving this lone user a little hope in the darkness of the the current events and looking towards what more I can do to help.
Keep up the good work people from the devs to the posters to the lurkers I really think we are on to to something that’s already making a big difference even if it’s a ripple in the ocean I can only see us growing in a good way and thank you for all your hard work
Cheers 🍻
I tapped on one of them and I got error after error not being able to resolve the url or something, it was very fast and I couldn't read the message. I had to restart the phone because I was unable to close the app, it kept bringing it back on even after putting the phone in airplane mode.
Since some time ago, like a week, I’ve been experiencing that the home feed only has a few posts and sometimes it is empty and shows the message to subscribe to communities.
I checked going directly to the instance web page on the browser and it shows my home feed full.
iOS: 26.5.2 Voyager: 2.47.4
I was trying to leave my current Android app but it didn't show on there for me just now.
I just popped out to grab an image for a post, then realized I didn't have a photo app, then went to the play store to download Ente, then decided I should just download an image directly.... by the time I got back, Voyager had been closed and the draft was (apparently?) lost.
Any idea of how to prevent this from happening in the future?
And where is the draft supposedly saved?
Hi, I'm an ungraceful walrus who keeps fat fingering the menu at the bottom of my screen and interrupting what I'm reading and would love an option to have it be moved to the top thanks.
Pic is what I see instead of the post I'm trying to read when I fatfinger it.

I'm not one to ping people often, just trying to point out an issue concerning piefed.
I know it's on me for only using one threadiverse account. Still, voyager is my daily use app and I miss it dearly.
https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/issues/2311Open linkView original on piefed.socialI had an exchange with some asshole about what belongs on a forum. Turns out the asshole was the mod, but I didn't know that until I logged onto the web.
Are there plans to include those tags in Voyager?
Is it possible to add dyslexia font support to the app? It would make posts much easier to read for me.
