Anon watches a romance movie

What’s to stop anyone today from having an open conversation with their partner about opening their relationship? In the examples above, no one is vilifying having an open relationship… it’s vilifying lying and dishonesty.

Even if we were to normalize infidelity, that doesn’t mean anyone should be beholden to accepting it in their relationship. Your argument is akin to saying “lying is widespread because it comes from human nature” so we should just normalize lying.

F that noise.

Was he ever cognitively there?

As much as I’m not a fan of Trump, based on that snopes article and the context around what he said… it’s pretty obvious that he accidentally said country instead of something like company. He followed up with remarks that made it obvious he knew that it was a toy company.

Ramaswamy wants to end the H-1B visa program he used 29 times

Yes! Let’s abolish the H1-B and replace it with something that makes it easier for work visa holders to change jobs and gives them an automatic green card after a few years of employment. The looming threat of deportation for visa holders and the lack of obligation for companies to sponsor green cards puts way too much power in the hands of employers.

Also I’d be in favor of a better pathway to long term residency for folks who are highly educated/educated in the US.

I assume that’s not what this guy is saying.

Why does traditional masculinity have such longevity, even among younger boys?

This is a bit off topic, but I really dislike terms like toxic masculinity or traditional masculinity.

I prefer talking about it in terms of “prescribed masculinity” which I think is the actual problem here. If you enjoy being a sports bro, who lifts weights, and is really into cars. Awesome! If you enjoy table top games and reading, awesome! Something completely different? Believe it or not, also awesome! As long as you’re not using it as an excuse to be an asshole to someone, men should pursue whatever will make their life the most fulfilling. But as far as defining masculine as some specific traits or interests, fuck that noise.

Kien, the most-delayed video game in history, released after 22 years

I am super confused by this. I read the article and then went looking to see if I could buy a rom or something… The gba cart is 60 dollars (oof) and I don’t have anything to play it on. The publisher doesn’t appear to sell roms. The article didn’t seem to mention anything but… there’s a bunch of gameplay videos of this game that have, apparently, been around for years. The gameplay looks pretty much identical to the latest trailer. There is also a rom available from the standard rom sites… that seems to have been there for awhile.

Was this game released ages ago or was it leaked years ago or what?

(I played the rom and it’s…. not great. Mostly just spamming A)
