I am not a fan who can cite trivia and remembers detailed plots of all episodes, so please do correct me if I am wrong.

Watching the 2026 season of Futurama, I feel that it is less kind than the previous ones. From Leela saving Bender “if we have time,” through Bender telling Professor “I hate you,” to Fry being repeatedly slapped, it seems different. Maybe livelier, but in a way how Archer was livelier than Futurama.

Do you get the same feeling or is it me getting older?

• Audio: There are unfortunately no subtitles available. I’m deaf and still found it entertaining without subtitles but I guess I missed a lot.
