He can introduce the most sane, rational, logical bills this country has ever seen, and there's no chance of it passing until after the 2028 election at best. Even with the current progressive momentum, there simply aren't going to be enough votes to pass anything good (especially enough to overcome any virtually certain veto) unless progressives rout everybody else in both this year and the 2028 elections.

The problem is (at least in the USA) that lawmakers are never personally held responsible for the crappy laws they pass. It's a major contributor to how screwed up this country has become because they can force their personal ideology on everyone, no matter how misguided. This is something I strongly believe needs to be rectified to make real progress, but I'm not sure how that should happen.

µBlock doesn't have just one list. You can go into its settings and choose which of many lists to use (and even add your own). There's probably not going to be a list that manages what you want right now. There are likely hundreds of such sites being made almost every day now with open source AI models.

With so many techies losing their jobs to AI, I'll bet it seems like a low-hanging fruit method of generating cash to many of them. Most will stop when they find the costs outweigh the benefits (while leaving dead sites up in their wake), but others will just be starting so the cycle will continue.
