My next door neighbor is trying to lose a 100lbs. But having real problems getting his breathing under control when exercising. Is there like a breathing exercise he can do everyday to improve?

I have mild activity induced asthma. I also think my inhaler either doesn't help or doesn't help enough so I basically never use it. I also get the blood taste! However, I usually only get really bad symptoms if I'm really out of shape. If I reduce my load and keep working at it, most symptoms go away completely. Like... After a few weeks or a month depending on how long I've stopped exercising for. Maybe that's specific to me, maybe not. No idea.

After I took an ADHD examination, I was turning my results in to the receptionist. I said "I think I did pretty good, yeah?" and they replied "you and your doctor will have a lot to talk about".
Ah... I see...

My employer has been axing so many high level engineers it's not even funny. I think that's terrible for engineer morale. Why would you want to strive to improve and get promoted if it just makes you "too expensive to keep on payroll"?
