Mandatory diesel particulate filters and regen systems and exhaust gas coolers had to be put in. Gota make room for that. Then, in 2009 , the DEF became mandatory. gota make room for all that as well. Look under the hood of a cummins dodge or even worse yet, ford power stroke. There is absolutely no space under the hood for anything. It's jam-packed all the way to the top.

A simple solution would be a front camera that are on from stop to 50kmph amd you know not being a lazy fucking meat bag and moving your head around a few inches forward and to the left.
