spooky

So this one time my house got struck by lightning. It caused over 10k in damages including some of the equipment in my homelab.

The lightning traveled through the coax on the modem (some how unaffected), into my opnsense, destroyed the pcie NIC, on both WAN and LAN side, managed to travel through my POE switch and killed every non-POE device, including my main workstations motherboard. The switch was still alive but POE function wasn't working. After I replaced it, strangely none of the POE devices were affected and were working fine.

Since then, my coax has ground protections, two of them.

I currently use 3 browsers, DuckDuckGo, FF and Chrome, slowly phasing Chrome out. Most of your reasons are just your opinions packaged with catchy lingo. Most of the points where you actually try to expand to, you're wrong and provide horrible examples. Most people switch to firefox for reasons that might be beyond your needs.

High five rule

Yes! Absolutely yes! My wife hates it but our house is "no spider-kill" house". I have explained how we benefit from spiders in the house and how they're nothing to be feared of multiple times. I love spiders and i wish more moved in!

Strait of Hormuz tensions threaten to push gas past $5 a gallon by June

I work in a field that is populated mostly by magats and had the everyday operational costs rise by 30-40% due to fuel pricing, but their income was barely affected.

They will not stand down. They still think this is 5D chess. They will suffer, even if it means taking out second mortgages, defaulting on their credit cards or borrowing money from relatives without intentions of paying them back. They do not see the hypocrisy they are living.
