The IQ is off the charts
This is somewhat misrepresentative of the speech. Not that I want to defend the guy and yes it's a bonkers thing to talk about but... https://www.instagram.com/reel/DetCmaPj0Og/?exln=MW1sbjlzdDNibjh2NQ%3D%3D

Professionalism has a ceiling, I guess.
Used to work with a billionaire. Can confirm.
One thing all super rich people seem to do is end their emails with the most basic signature. Like just their initials in lowercase or something.

Anon joins a shitposting group
There's a subreddit called TrumpZone or something like that that I joined because of all the over the top bootlicking memes. It took a few days before I realized that the memes weren't being posted ironically and the members really were batshit crazy.

Why even bother having memes if you're just going to obfuscate words AND censor them too?

Marjorie Taylor Greene steps down today after five years in Congress; once a close Trump ally, she split with him over foreign policy and the release of the Epstein files
She also made tens of millions with her insider information, and discovered that when you go anti-MAGA you're greeted by a deluge of immediate death threats. Let's not pretend she's retiring out of principle.

Both Ford and Mercedes own a /8 block of public IP addresses, that is 16 million public IPV4 addresses each
I've been in IT since 1997. Back in the old times, network blocks were like free. I've worked for several places with full /8 public CIDRs - One employer didn't even NAT the addresses and every PC and server on our network had a public IP address. Firewalls were in place so the IPs weren't public in the traditional sense, but it was always fun explaining to some new hire why our IP addresses didn't look like they expected.

Return to the year 2000 with classic multiplayer DOS games in your browser
ITT: People who don't know that Windows 95-98 and Windows ME were gui front-ends for a DOS kernel.
Most games of this era wouldn't run on Windows 2000, the first consumer Windows OS not built on DOS.

LPT: If you have a lot of loose zip ties, well cut the head off of one and zip the rest onto that!
Grab a handful of zip ties.
Take one zip tie, wrap it around the bundle and tighten, but don't overtighten.
The end. Exponentially faster than whatever the hell this post is.

Is the "Gen z stare" a real thing?
I've run into it, I think. Went out to eat with the wife and as we walked into the restaurant the hostess just stared at us, then picked up two menus and started walking. We were like, "Do we follow her or...?" And so, sheepishly, we followed her and she did indeed lead us to our seats. It was a couple weeks later when I first heard of the Gen Z stare. I showed my wife and we were like, oh... That was it, we guess.
I've seen it a couple other times - recently at CVS the guy at the pharmacy counter would just sort of stare at each customer without really acknowledging them until after they said what they needed. No greeting or pleasantries of any kind, and then he would go into his standard cvs scripted questions.

Battery Costs Just Plunged 70% — This Changes Everything
We're definitely seeing the price drops at the consumer level - 5kWh server-rack-style batteries are below $800 for UL listed models, which is nuts.
Used EV batteries are getting really cheap too, you can get as much as 80kWh for around five grand and use an open source BMS to use it for home storage.

South Korea police say 120,000 home cameras hacked for 'sexploitation' footage

With a upnp router, you don't have to manually open any ports; it can be done automatically by the camera or app. Meaning that just by adding certain cameras to your internal network, they're automatically open to the Internet.
