Got busy last weekend making a window panel for my portable AC. Current me is grateful for past me.

Did my semi compulsory 30mins attendance at my company Christmas party tonight. Had a cry on the drive home because I'd like to be able to stay and have a nice time and a few drinks but I just get too stressed out by the idea of the whole thing leave 🙃

Last minute decision made to go down to Geelong for Chemical Brothers. I'll be going alone but I've heard good things about this show so I think it will be worth dealing with the nightmare that is Mt Duneed estate parking.

Very few photos are more humbling then the passport photo as someone who doesn't ware makeup. Being forced to remove your glasses when they're something I use to detract from the ugly also doesn't help🫠

I might join you... I'm pretty good with having breakfast/dinner after 20 years of being inconsistent with either. But I have a habit of coming home from work, eating dinner on the couch and then not moving from there until I go to bed. I have almost no friends in Melbourne so I spend my weekends doing much the same.

What in the hot windy sunny rain is going on outside.

This humidity is revolting. I just want to feel clean and not sticky.

How do people who overthink every aspect of their life buy property? I'm down in the Frankston/Seaford area today wondering if I'm an idiot for even considering trying to buy down here. Do I just stick with what I know and continue to be possibly unhappy in an apartment in the inner city suburbs?

I never would have thought I'd prefer to stay in Queensland weather wise but even with humidity I'm regretting booking my flight back to Melbourne for tonight. I suppose I'll miss a day of it but my apartment is going to be a hotbox when I get back.

Why is my neighbor out using his leaf blower on a day like this? He's losing the fight.

Slept with the portable AC on last night and still slept pretty terribly. Looks like it's going to hit max temp at around 2pm today and start cooling down. I'm thinking I'll have to leave some of my windows open today if my apartment has any chance of cooling down after all this hot weather.

Walked to Moon for some cruller treats and stopped at Eddy gardens for some dog watching on the way home. Surely this makes up for rotting in bed all day yesterday?

Just finished up dinner and trying to avoid going home. I can just hear the TS gig from my apartment and given how much time I've spent trying to get a ticket it just feels like I'm being taunted 😂😭

Rain has just hit Fitzroy. Not sure how long it will last.
