If you haven't tried it yet, consider Heartgold / SoulSilver too.
Having your Pokemon follow you around is too precious🥺

Spring Anime Season Wrap-up and Discussion Thread [2026, Week 26]
The dark horse / anime of the season for me is My Ribdiculous Reincarnation.
Not gonna lie, my expectations were tempered due to My Deer Friend Nokotan. I was half expecting it to catch some initial attention by being quirky, then fall off by having one-note comedy / plot.
Thankfully, even if a particular reincarnation episode didn't hit the spot, its creative use of media still managed to keep things interesting.
One thing that surprised me positively is the plot. There is actually an overarching plot, so it's not just episodic nonsense.
And speaking of plot, there's one particular episode that stood out in terms of story / story-telling. Fellow viewers should know which one I'm talking about: the curry plate one.
All these factors led to it exceeding my expectations, making it my AOTS.

[Trailer] Pokémon TCG Pocket: Everyday Wonders
Very cute set. Even if they're not meta viable, I'd like to collect these cards.

Takaichi ‘charm offensive’ on leaders leaves many cringing
But Takaichi managed to avoid the “worst case scenario” by dodging any troop request from the U.S. president.
If it looks stupid but it works, it ain't stupid.

A refugee’s deportation rattles a deeply conservative town: ‘What Trump has done is not Christlike’
Randall has known Binod for more than 16 years. A self-described conservative constitutionalist Christian, he blames Joe Biden for Binod’s deportation. “Biden was completely responsible for it. Trump wasn’t,” he said. In Randall’s view, Trump was “just fixing the border”, cleaning up after Biden’s failure to control immigration, and Binod was collateral damage.

1000 Epic employees laid off.
Since it's a thing now, I should note that the layoffs aren't related to AI.
As shitty as the situation is, I can respect the fact that they are being somewhat honest about it, as opposed to hiding behind a scapegoat like most other tech companies. (Though they still blamed it on something external / outside of their control 🙃)
