Yeah, I can see how it could be seen that way. I'm thinking more along the lines of "Dave performs for money. Someone wants to pay a lot of money for a special performance, and it doesn't affect any of his other shows so of course he would do it". IMO what Dave did isn't unethical, but I can see how it could be seen that way. But I also think if the article was "Amazon Execs bought a multi million dollar yacht after massive layoffs", no one would be blaming the yacht manufacturer. Just the execs.

Yes, there's technically no expectation of privacy in public and people can legally record you in public spaces. The problem is being able to hide you're recording. If you're making small talk to a stranger and they pull out their phone to record the conversion, you're going to be weirded out and leave. If they have these glasses, you might not even know your conversion is being broadcast.

I think it's because someone who takes enough Road trips to use something like that would properly just get a regular plug in hybrid. That being said, this might be coming soon for ev trucks actually. The dodge ram ev is going to have a gas powered range extender, and I believe ford has patented a bed mounted version for its ev truck.

Playing devils advocate here. If there was a bug when chrome/Firefox/whatever tried to set the default browser, wouldn't the most logical action to reset the default back to edge, instead of leaving it in a weird bugged out state?

Yup, it's an outside wall. That makes more sense about it being draft prevention! The outlet was loose so I just figured it was a way to get it supported. I'll be replacing every outlet in the house asap. The house was built in the 80's, so even if most outlets are fine, I'll sleep better knowing there's no 40+ year old outlets about to bite the dust.

Water does change density with temperature, so it is denser the deeper you go. I doubt there's a normal bowling ball weight that would have the right density for it to float at some random depth though.

In a small defense of ME legendary, it is 3 different games in one package. Still Annoying, especially since storage space isn't the only factor. Internet speed can really ruin your gaming plans

I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually enjoy a hybrid work schedule. It helps that I actually like my coworkers, but it's so much nicer to talk to them in person. And it might just be me, but it's easier to separate work and home life when they are in separate places.

Remote days are great for getting small chores done around the house, and I can cook my lunch. Hybrid gives the best of both worlds, at least for me.

I'm fortunate that my office is flexible so if something comes up I can work from home until whatever issue gets resolved. Just goes to show that everyone has preferences and the best policy is to let people choose.

Basically all tracking is done by Google ads. It checks at start up if you have purchased ad free or not. If purchased, launch app without ad library, else launch with ads. It has to be in the code because (according to the dev) Google is cracking down on similar apps, ie a pro version and a free version. So ad library has to be included, and it just won't use it if you pay for pro

100 bucks is only for the extra features. Just to remove ads is $20, which is admittedly still high
