The dating pool

Truth is the second option one is just a normal ass guy. Everyone has emotions and needs. The fact is it's still taboo to be a "man" and have emotions.

Like honestly tell me any other option on there is preferable to someone with emotions... She acting like women don't require the same thing? Gtfoh. It's not even a bad thing. It's just a human thing.

Nuclear fusion reactor in South Korea runs at 100 million degrees C for a record-breaking 48 seconds

Reply in thread

Because the problem fusion reactors will solve isn't free energy. We already have that, like you suggest. Solar, wind, geo thermal, hydro power, oceanic tide harvesting, and to a certain extent nuclear...all of that is free energy waiting to be harnessed.

The problems it solves include packaging (think footprint for a solar farm power plant), radio activity (like fission power plants), predictability ( solar, wind, etc), and location (hydro). Fusion puts clean power plants anywhere you want them, safely and reliably.

All of these allow you to advocate for a functioning power plant to governments and citizens without any drawbacks besides costs to build and maintain. It's an easier sell than any other power in existence. It runs off of water.

It lives! 47-year-old Voyager 1 is back in action

Reply in thread

It'll be a monument.

Every other monument we have yet made lies within the solar system. The voyager probes are humanity's first physical journey beyond our home. It's human curiousity reaching out into the cosmos for the first time. As cosmic infants walking outdoors for the first time. Even if we eventually pass them some day, they were still the first.

And even more, there are plaques on them waiting for that 1 in a trillion chance to be found by a distant alien race. Long after humanity goes extinct those plaques will endure. Even if we can see the beginning of the universe with telescopes, those telescopes are near to our planet.

The voyager probes could potentially exist in the future as the only thing outside of our solar system to prove we ever even existed....hell depending on how and when we go out, they might be the only things anywhere

edit: I forgot about pioneer. pioneer 10 and 11 were launched first but voyager 1 and 2 left the solar system first. Also there is new horizons. 5 probes total.

Pioneer probes had plaques and voyager 1 and 2 have gold records that can be played if assembled correctly by aliens. Lol https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstellar_probe#:~:text=As%20of%202024%2C%20there%20are,three%20are%20on%20interstellar%20trajectories.

Build your throne

I believe that gaming is so fundamentally different now. Twitch, YouTube and other services have produced instant access to streams of the best players in the world and thousands of players crowd sourcing all of their knowledge online in discord, comment sections, subreddits, YouTube, and wherever else...

it's produced a phenomenon where a community for a game inevitably speed runs everything about it within like 7 days. Any new meta or piece of content can go from novel to completely documented in no time at all.

This changes the way developers think about competitive gaming and even cool story games where you might hide Easter eggs. It changes how they build the game and their choices.

The onus is on the player to actively not seek that info out in games. And in competitive shooters that is to their detriment.

I'm just an old guy yelling at clouds, but it removed some of the magic of the experience when now you just Google (game)"current meta"

GamersNexus responds to Linus Sebastian's WAN Show segment

At this stage, Linus Media Group and GamersNexus have both made statements which are extremely serious. This is far beyond presenting a front of friendliness, and I am respectfully requesting that Linus Sebastian drops that facade publicly, as well as ceases the repeated personal emails requesting as much, as it is personally making me extremely uncomfortable.

Uh I'm sorry what the fuck

I visited my first psychiatrist this year and told him I have concerns that I was adhd.

I shit you not a fucking Dr of psychiatry told me that was very unlikely because they would've caught it when I was a child.

Fucking moron.
