Public money is spent to benefit the rich more then the poor

Remember about a year and a half ago when no expense or resource was spared to try to rescue a billionaire with a deathwish from the bottom of the Atlantic while AT THE VERY SAME TIME over 500 refugees that could have been saved, who were still at the surface, were left to drown off the coast of Greece.

https://www.peoplesworld.org/article/titanic-submarine-billionaires-get-massive-global-rescue-effort-refugees-left-to-drown/

The ship had been in distress almost two days before it sank, but help didn’t come until it was too late. How many might have been rescued with one-tenth the resources that were rushed to save the five billionaires and millionaires on the Titan?

This isnt a healthcare problem. This is a global crony market capitalist problem.

This is a class warfare occupation problem.

Fuck valuing human life on the basis of ego score.

Please vote

I don't like Joe Biden, I'll never forget the Neoliberal bullshit he did with the Republicans in the 90s we are still suffering from further eviscerating the safetynet to the draconian war on people suffering addiction. He's one of the OG former opposition party members the Reagan Revolution convinced to take the bigger bribe checks from Wall Street than Unions could ever match, today's neoliberal(D) party.

That said, I voted for him in the last election, and I will again out of harm reduction. He has improved on policy, but l even if he didn't, the American people do not get a vote on whether or not to elect a senile President this cycle.

You can have any President you like, as long as he's senile. If you vote, we'll get a senile President. If you don't, we'll get a senile President.

The question is whether you want senile and gleefully cruel(R), or just senile(D). I'll take just senile.

Restaurant in NYC offshores cashier job to Philippines so they can pay below minimum wage ($3/hr in Philippines)

Outsourcing is the problem.

The owners take advantage of our commons, tear up our roads, and succeeded because of domestic infrastructure, only to refuse to pay full price for labor and allowing even those wages, in lieu of the taxes they bribe our government to enact loopholes to dodge, to "trickle down" domestically as their always bullshit yay market capitalism talking points lied?

It's absolutely clownshoes that outsourcing labor/manufacturing is allowed, not because of domestic shortages for a skill, but to explicitly pay pennies on the dollar for the employees you need and screw the country you don't want to pay taxes to despite record profits even harder.

It's insane. But we let the owner class dictate whatever they want here, and our well bribed government will even sell it for them by calling it "something something freedom" while never mentioning social consequences, accountability, or responsibility. We aren't so much a country as a piggy bank and cudgel for the global owner class.

Rich Vs. Poor

The rich don't care about the poor.

They don't see the poor as human enough to hate.

They live in separate bubbles, go to different schools, live in guard gated places, vacation at places only they can afford. By design, the wealthy are segregated from us, and are taught not to empathize with their livestock.

That's all anyone outside their class are to them, livestock. Management livestock, laborer livestock, homeless (capitalist scarecrows) livestock. Just levels of livestock.

Honestly I think the sociopathy of market capitalism makes it worse, yes worse, than crimes of hatred.

At least someone who hurts or kills you for who you are cares enough about your existence enough to want to hurt you and revel in your pain.

A wealthy capitalist will feed a thousand children lead or deny a thousand claims for necessary surgeries(topical!), and pay the fine if there's one at all without so much as a glance at your name. A nameless speed bump on the road to GLORIOUS PROFIT!

It's just business after all 🤑

The owners are trying to stop us from being able to.

GoFundMe, a for profit organization, took down an attempt to raise money for him.

He allegedly killed a low level owner, after all! Not some poorie livestock!

Raise all the money for poories you like though. Use GoFundMe, a percentage of your charitable transaction will go to their glorious private shareholders!

(don't use GoFundMe anymore)

Sorry hun

I curse with abandon in front of my kid, not at him, just in conversation. Expletives are part of language, and are just more words for the toolbox, useful in adding a little spice or emphasis to a point.

If a teacher ever contacts me to say they used a vulgar word, my first question that will inform my response, if any, will be "how did they use it, specifically?"

I see our, the US's, childish aversion to curse words as part of its childish puritanical roots based in wilfill ignorance. Guns all day, but ahhhhh dirty words! Ahhhhh boobies! Our response to such things are what's embarrassing.

If you want me to take anyone's censorship of anything seriously in this cesspool, start by advocating censoring glorification of "muh 2A," and maybe I'll take you seriously.

Elon Musk’s Biographer Warns Billionaire Is ‘Going Mad’ Due To ‘Combination Of Depression, Drugs And Stress’

It's not the most important reason by a long shot, but it's yet another reason why extreme wealth hoarding, aka billionaires and centimillionaires, should have been taxed out of existence and legislated from existing going forward:

Even they aren't happy, even sitting in the complete victory of their coup. They could have a dozen space station mansions each and they still wouldn't be satiated or satisfied. They can't be satisfied. That is their defining character deficit. Literally everybody loses so long as the avarice diseased capitalists remain in charge, even them. The intensity of their cringeworthy attempts at social media flexes betrays their intent and blasts us all with their screaming insecurities day in and day out.

They're mentally ill with an obsession/compulsion related disorder that they've manipulated civilization into enabling at literally every possible expense, including mass human murder and seriously risking human extinction for short term private profit.

They should be in mental health facilities receiving inpatient treatment for their extremely destructive antisocial behaviors for both their and everyone else's safety and wellbeing, too bad at least in the US they defunded mental healthcare into utter ruin (and education, and common infrastructure, etc) to cut their own taxes through their captured government.

The inmates are truly running the asylum our society.

Luigi Mangione shouts at media as police rush him into court

Imho, as painful as it is, avoiding an economic civil war at this point does more harm than good over time. It kicks the can down the road until their side exclusively can use humanoid robots to fight their battles for them, and that just means get in line and die until collapse.

The alternative is even darker, our non-wealthy children being judged by AI as to whether the potential profit/loss of healing them is greater or less than their remaining projected exploitation value to the owners.

And that's just in Healthcare. Our entire economy has become this sociopathic.

This is silent slaughter. No one should confuse quiet with peace. We haven't had peace for a long time.

They don't care if only the top 5% is free on the backs of the 95%, they don't see the bottom 95% as human at all. I don't think society should continue under that bargain. It isn't worth it. No one is free until everyone is.

Happy Man

If he gets caught, he should slow roll the trial as looooooong as he can...

... And run for President in 2028 🇺🇸

Felonies and civility don't matter anymore... clearly. He has a platfom I'd like to hear more of.

Seems to have a face that would look good on a campaign poster.

US grade school textbooks

Remember, small impressionable children, oligarchy and rigged market capitalism is the only way, everything else is evil and anti-freedom, and remember to compete against your fellow Americans to try to get more than them!

For our next lesson, critical thinking and reasoning! Just kidding, we don't do that here. It doesn't help to make you better laborers.

And now onto history, open your textbooks to page 33:

Luigi Mangione prosecutors have a jury problem: "So much sympathy"

I thought they put the terrorist charge on him precisely to avoid requiring a jury as part of all the rights privileges we surrendered post 9/11 in the name of... Pffff... National security.

National security being hilarious considering the CEOs are still walking the streets free, murdering citizens for profit having never not being actively sucked off by legislators that passed the patriot act and similar legislation.

The murderous Shareholders are already inside the house. They own the house. You can barely afford to rent it from them.

Dems Reportedly Angry That Progressives Are Pushing Them to Act Like an Opposition Party.

The US needs a left-wing Party.

This has been half a century of Fascists vs neoliberals, center-right "free to be LGBTQ as you die of poverty in the gutter" vs so far right we're building Concentration camps.

Unfortunately our people have been poorly educated by design as well as brainwashed into believing profit comes before humanity. " Herp derp Anything less is socialism and therefore evil!"

This is only "freedom" for the rich to trample the poor. Freedom without social responsibility is a rampage. We need revolution, revolution that does far more to Wall Street than merely occupy it , or we need to accept living in hell until the capitalists destroy the climate enough to destroy civilization all together.

Don't worry, just a few more decades of the same at most for nature to do what we're failing to. This will end within a human lifespan, the choice is if it will be with or without a habitable planet for Humans.

This isnt the usual ebbs and flows of history, There is a very literal deadline of humanity's own greedy making.

How Americans responded in 1955 when the invention of the polio vaccine was announced

Maybe we're going about this the wrong way. We know what kind of country we live in, a nation of proud, almost patriotic willful ignorance. By design. An laborer ignorant to who is fucking them is a dependable laborer, after all.

So in the spirit of playing to the audience we have, have we tried rebranding the "vaccines" as, and I'm just spitballing here, Freedom Blessings, Robert E Lee Juice, The Joe Rogan Vein Experience, or the Prove You Hate Commies Test?

House of Representatives Votes 269-144 to Ban State Department from Citing Gaza Death Toll

I Wouldn't expect any less from this gold plated cesspool founded on genocide, slavery, and exploitation.

"herp derp but we saved the world and beat the Nazis!" Yeah, we fought and defeated the Axis... after they decimated our pacific fleet and brought the war to us. Prior to that, eugenics were popular here, and practiced. Hell, some of our most infamous capitalists supplied and financed both sides of that war, after all, private profit is what America is all about.

We're dogshit, all the way back to the zealots fleeing Europe to be bigger religious prudes and nutters. The only amazing thing about our country is its ridiculously massive, undeserved ego.
