I'd rather not speculate. There's enough shit that's plainly visible that we don't need to guess at things.

It's not a guess, he said so on camera.

We know he wants to. We don't know that he did.

Ah, i see. I'd not clocked all that "again" implied.

2

Yeah I think it might not need the comma. The comma made me thing that they were “again saying ‘perhaps’.”

3

No perhaps about it he started talking about her breasts on national television as she was getting them and later on said if she wasn't his daughter she would be his type alongside the "what do you have in common" "sex!" comment which is just gross.

11

It doesn't matter how attractive your kid is, you shouldn't want to fuck them. Also I recall her being a minor when that happened.

Why does every woman in his circle look like a low rent porn star?

12

The entire right wing press system has had that type for decades. Just look at basically every woman they put in front of a camera at Fox News.

Hey guys, I'm starting to believe that the people Trump puts in those important positions aren't selected for their competence.

As dumb as Trump is, I doubt he even knows how to pick a competent person for any job.

39

He makes his choices based on his desire to be the smartest person in the room.

One of the complaints he had from his first term was that he was prevented from doing things because he was surrounded by "people who think they're smarter than me"...

His lawyers, for all their failings, have managed to keep him out of prison so far. (Having a few judges in his pocket doesn’t hurt.)

Tbf the us citizens at large kept him out of prison via the vote. I mean he probably wouldn’t have gone to prison because he’s rich and connected to all the people he pretends to hate and pretend to hate him but the voters at least put the nail in the coffin on the idea.

Yeah, his lawyers don’t have that great a track record; Giuliani was his lawyer for a while. He probably gets lucky occasionally, but I really think he’s too stupid to know the difference between a competent an incompetent person in any field.

12

I’m pretty sure for press secretary he just thinks them being attractive by his standards is the definition of competent. Beyond that he mostly values loyalty from what I can tell.

Epstein was also rich and connected. He got put in prison and then murderd.

8

Well...He was convicted on 34 criminal counts. He didn't go to prison only because of a feckless judge who was too scared of his responsibility to give a meaningful sentence and didn't punish him at all.

11

Just blind luck, like most of his successes. And also collusion with conservative justices and judges and prosecutors.

3

What do you mean? She clearly has MAGA face. Isn't that the competence that's required?

13

These days he probably just points to furniture and says, “you’re hired!” And “you’re fired!” And his people just hire whoever looks most like the last person because he gets upset when his reality’s continuity is broken.

From the Guardian today, who are calling her the Zachbot due to her flattened, AI-like portrayal of a human press secretary:

How long can she last? Trump said soon after: “I thought she was very good.” But the Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump group, tweeted an image of the Zachbot beside a lettuce to evoke Liz Truss, who lasted only 49 days as British prime minister.

And Anthony Scaramucci, who was Trump’s communications director for just 11 days, a period now known as “a Scaramucci”, tweeted: “The clock is running. Thus far 1/11th of a Scaramucci.”

When the Mooch is giving you the Grim Reaper treatment, it might be time to self-terminate.

She makes Sean Spicer look like a wizard of wordcraft -

yeah that's probably about right - 2.5

By September 2025, Zacharia had worked as legal advisor for Fix California, a political organization; had served on the board of advisors at White Rose Resistance, an antiabortion advocacy group; and was a member of the Pepperdine University School of Law's dean council. She had additionally served as director of development for special projects at Pepperdine University.

Pepperdine University is a private research university affiliated with the Churches of Christ

:-|

Zacharia became deputy assistant secretary of homeland security for public affairs in February 2026. She announced her resignation the following month. According to CNN, Zacharia, who lived in California, told an associate that commuting to the Department of Homeland Security's headquarters in Washington, D.C., was not sustainable. In June, Zacharia became a communications advisor to the Trump Media and Technology Group.

Classic case of failing upwards.

45

Oh, wow, I could’ve accurately described her to a police sketch artist before I ever saw her.

35

White House press secretary Katie Zacharia’s debut was so poor it made Karoline Leavitt look like Cicero.

The newly appointed press secretary spoke slowly and awkwardly during her debut press conference Tuesday, as if she had never seen or uttered the words in front of her prior to taking the podium. Her cadence was clunky, closer to that of a fourth grader reading school announcements over an intercom than a polished political communications professional. It’s clear she was never meant to be more than another blonde conservative placeholder on Fox News. The SNL spoof feels imminent.

I thought she did okay for a high school valedictorian speech.

Of course a professional wouldn't need to look down to read their own name.

19

I don't even think it was quite that level. It came off to me as someone presenting for a a highschool group project that didn't do any of the work, so they were forced to present. It genuinely seemed like the first time she ever read the info.

Sycophant #273: I want my cheekbones doubled and my lips filled in with silicon. Not silicone, that's too woke.

No plenty of women do that themselves with tweezers and makeup. It's unsettling.

1

There's some other bitch that looks even worse. She's the wife of one of his boot lickers, and has had a botched surgery that makes her look just cadaverous.

3

Lying on your resume is a requirement for this administration.

12

I think she just made the classic rookie mistake of swallowing a whole rat before the press conference; tail was probably still in her throat.

It's like Frosty the Snowman, but instead you sprinkled pumpkin spice on a barbie doll.

Hmm, I thought she had public speaking experience…and, at least he didn’t hire her as a lawyer.
