Excuse my language but what a grifter cunt.

I dislike the term in general but some people earn the title fair and square.

Man, talking about being a psychopath

At this point I suppose that her children could be murdered and she'd still use that to get ahead.

Fucking disgusting

She was probably a part of it. They're cartoon villains made real.

Yeah, especially gun violence is pretty neckligible in Europe compared to the US.

i looked at moving there in the late 1990s, lived there for a year. After some time I realised I'd bought into the propaganda about this US being the greatest country on earth. I have never been back. After 9/11 they really jumped the shark.

Eh, it's a really over-hyped issue, honestly.

In the US, you're about 5x as likely to be killed by a cop than by a mass shooter. But nobody memes all day about that for some reason...

I'm not the person who commented earlier, but I think they were referring specifically to "mass shootings," which are more associated (at least, the perspective is) with being somewhat random. I think most Americans are more afraid of being shot at random in a mass shooting by mistake, as it would be out of their control.

Separately, gun violence as a whole is a huge problem. It is typically more associated with gang and criminal activity (which are of course big problems), but many Americans feel if you avoid dangerous areas you should more or less avoid gun violence, as the mass shootings tend to (but don't always) get an incredible amount of news coverage. Additionally, many of those mass shootings are gang shootings. It's really the school shootings, mall shootings church shootings, etc that people are afraid of. And those are a real problem, though the numbers are smaller than the hype would make it seem.

That being said, other countries don't seem to have the same issue, so it's still wild to have to try downplaying the violence.

No, you don't understand that was Obama and Biden's fault.

::: spoiler Tap for spoiler /s

Trump and Kirk supported an environment of violence, they just never pictured themselves in the cross hairs.

Trump isn't protecting Americas but he sure is fuck has tightened up his security. He wants us to shoot each other and have fascist supporters blast dark skin people and liberals, not him. :::

no you see obama and biden could have outlawed violence and that would have stopped it

::: spoiler spoiler if you need a tone indicator on this one i'm so sorry. your education failed you. :::

Right? Who hasn't lost a kid in a school shooting anyway, should we just close all the schools because of that? Meanwhile in Europe thousands of people dies of old age everyday. I'm not taking a chance on this.

You jest, but this is a perfect metaphor for the state of conservative news.

Really all news, but conservatives are far more guilty of it...half-truths and lies-through-omissions.

You cut one grifter down and three more shall take his place.

I was perfectly happy having no fucking idea who she is.

4

shes delusional and her perception of reality is apparently skewed or she just lying.

6

stmu, by posting this you are part of the problem. Why are we platforming and listening to a person whose only qualification is “my husband was an asshole”? Just stop listening to her, she is irrelevant.

I am feeling unsafe here, maybe Erika is going to save us all here.

An incompetent overstepping police force that arrests brown people would be so great 😃👍. Erika will make that happen Thank you so much Erika 👍

Political commentators get ironically assassinated in front of a crowds in broad daylight in the EU all the time. Just because it happened in the US once or twice this year doesn't mean anything.

Sigh... Yet another way in which Europe is superior.
